The father of two encouraged a more supportive and compassionate approach to discussing marital issues, rather than perpetuating hurtful commentary.

He wrote: “Instead of casting blame in broken marriages that you know nothing about, why not focus on the reasons why the institution itself is under attack. No one goes in with a plan to fail. It’s troubling to see online inlaws and blogs revel in sensationalism, often at the expense of those hurting. “Challenges are an inevitable part of life. They come in various forms—personal struggles, societal expectations, and the weight of judgment from others. Too often, people form opinions about us without truly knowing our stories. They see only the surface, making assumptions based on incomplete narratives. Yet, it is through these experiences that I have learned the importance of self-acceptance. Understanding my worth, independent of external validation, has been a liberating journey. While others may see my struggles as weaknesses, I choose to view them as stepping stones that have fortified my character and shaped my identity.

“With grace as my guide, I embrace each day as a new opportunity to rise, to grow, and to inspire others along the way. In this beautiful dance of life, I am reminded that grace, love, and perseverance will always light my path forward”.

AY Comedian addresses criticism over controversial post

Comedian and filmmaker Ayodeji Makun has responded to criticism following his recent post, in which he accused fellow male industry professionals of not promoting his latest film, “The Waiter.”

AY Comedian clarified that his initial statement was not intended to disparage the hardworking women in the industry, who he claimed have always received his support.

He emphasized the need for male support and camaraderie within the industry.

He expressed frustration about actors promoting other films while neglecting their commitments to his project, despite signed contracts.

AY Comedian stressed that asking for help from colleagues should be seen as a sign of strength, not weakness.

The comedian advocated for a culture where men can openly share their vulnerabilities and challenges without fear of judgment.

He highlighted the importance of male alliances and support systems, citing his own friendship with fellow comedian Basketmouth as an example.

AY Comedian concluded by urging men to support one another with the same enthusiasm they show for women, promoting a culture of brotherhood, emotional growth, and mental well-being.

He wrote: “Taking people’s point out of context is always easy and good for content in the social media space.

“And i repeat, “WEY TIN MAN DO MAN?” Begging your fellow male actors to join you in promoting your film shouldn’t be a big deal. Especially when i have always positioned myself to do the same for everyone. Do you know how frustrating it is to pay actors who end up promoting other films and abandoning the one that they are in… EVEN with signed contracts?

“My last tweet has nothing to do with the hardworking women who are winning in the industry as they all have my direct support and encouragement to date. In our journey towards a more equitable and compassionate society, it’s crucial to recognize that support must extend across all genders, MEN SHOULD ALSO SUPPORT MEN.

“I can’t be judged for coming out to say my mind. Too often, societal expectations dictate how men should behave—stoic, strong, and self-reliant. Being quiet as men when we face challenges and struggles is the reason why many of us die before our time. If i say to you that i have a good film that demands the support of my fellow men, kindly join me in fostering an environment where i can feel empowered to share my vulnerabilities, fears, and challenges, that will break down unforseen barriers.

“The women in the business are my friends, and nothing has changed. Asking for help from my colleagues directly or indirectly should be seen as strength, not a weakness. When men support each other, we cultivate brotherhood that uplifts everyone, allowing us to grow emotionally and mentally just the way @basketmouth and i are doing at the moment.

“Let’s commit to being allies to one another. Let’s show up, listen, and support each other with the same fervor we extend to women. Together, we can redefine what it means to be strong and create a community where every man feels valued and heard”
