Big Brother Naija housemate Faith Adewal has shared the complicated relationship with his mother.

During a conversation with fellow housemate Joanna, Faith wished his mother was “a better mum,” revealing tge struggles to form a deeper connection with her despite efforts to improve their relationship.

Joanna advised Faith to put more efforts into fixing their relationship, stating that he might have misunderstood his mother.

She emphasised the sacrifices mothers make for their children, including giving birth, and encouraged Faith to consider forgiveness.

Faith: “I hate my mum.”

Joanna: “Don’t say that.”

Faith: “Okay, maybe not hate but I just wished she were a better mum.”

Big Brother Naija housemate Kola has expressed frustration over the frequent closeness between Dede and Koyin. 

The drama has intensified after a Thursday night pool party where the duo were spotted in a cozy manner.

Kola’s frustration boiled over after he witnessed Dede and Koyin laying together, feeling disrespected and convinced Dede was making him look “stupid”.

He vented to confidant Zita, questioning what’s going on between Dede and Koyin.

“Just hear me out, right? You know I tell you things, and I trust you to the core. But what the fuck is going on downstairs with you and Koyin sitting on the bed? Like, you make me look stupid.

“I don’t do that with any other person; that’s why I don’t do anything with any other person, because she’ll make it seem like I say, ‘oh, this one, this one.’ Even with Imisi, I won’t do that,” he said.

Dede later explained to Joanna that the moment with Koyin was unusual, describing how he became emotional and cried after drinking.

According to Dede, it was a first of its kind for them as friends, and they were “more normal… more like a boy and a girl” in that moment.

However, fans are divided on social media, with some speculating that Dede and Koyin shared a kiss, while others believe Dede’s narrative.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Zita, has openly criticised fellow contestants Doris, Sultana, and Big Soso, describing them as “old and bitter women” who embody the stereotype of “older and angry women.”

Speaking in a conversation with Faith, Zita accused the trio of being the main instigators of gossip in the house, labelling them as “foolish.”

Although she admitted disliking stereotypes, Zita maintained that Doris, Sultana, and Big Soso perfectly fit this one.

“The major culprits are Doris, Sultana, and Big Soso. Those three are very foolish, and I hate foolish people,” she said.

“I hate stereotypes, but they are following a certain stereotype. The stereotype of older, angry women, I hate it. I would have fought tooth and nail that it is not true, that it is not everybody. And it is obviously not everybody, but why are they (Doris, Sultana, and Big Soso) pushing it?”

A heated confrontation erupted between housemates Imisi and Rooboy in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house, with the latter instigating the drama.

In a viral clip, Rooboy used provocative language and gestures, attempting to provoke Imisi into a physical reaction.

However, Imisi maintained her composure, responding verbally instead.

The situation escalated as Rooboy blocked Imisi’s path multiple times, daring her to react physically.

The 23-year-old, however, kept her cool and retaliated with sharp words, and when she tried to sit on a garden swing, Rooboy obstructed her path again, leading Imisi to lightly push him aside.

“Shey una don see o! She push me o! Everybody shey una dey see na she push me o!” Rooboy said dramatically, beating his chest.

The Big Brother Naija reality show has confirmed the death of one of its crew members, Ayotunde Elegbede.

Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced this during Sunday’s live eviction show, where he revealed that the show’s organisers had been informed of Elegbede’s passing by his family.
