She stated that 99% of Nigerians do not care how money is made, as long as they are rich.

Okagbue added that a lot of people in Nigeria have normalized illegal jobs, as long as they can make a substantial amount of money from them.

Okagbue also emphasized the importance of striving for contentment, so that even when things get tough, people do not feel tempted to take the wrong path.

She said: “99% of Nigerians don’t care about how you make your money. They just want to hype you and tap into your wealth without caring about your source of income. It even feels like doing an illegal job is normalised in this day and age.

“You’d be seen as important in the society if you are rich and it’s quite sad cause I don’t want to bring up my kids in such an environment where they think it’s okay to hurt people to get there or it’s okay to marry people that you cannot account for their source of income

“Hustle o, so you can give your kids the best life so your kids can marry for love and not for hunger so in their own world they would never be able to relate to certain lifestyle or associate with certain people. Most importantly, teach them contentment so when it’s not all rosy, they’d never look the wrong way.”

Bella Okagbue blasts fan for mocking her

BBNaija reality star, Bella Okagbue, has cursed a fan of the TV show who mocked her for the way she sounds.

Bella’s anger started with a mocking repost of her video by one Jessica on the X app formerly called Twitter.

Okagbue recently shared a video on her Snapchat and Instagram story, where she was seen singing along to a song with her boyfriend, Sheggz.

Reacting to the tweet, Bella sent a direct message to the user, expressing her deep hurt and frustration.

In her message, she cursed the user’s unborn children while expressing that while the user might achieve financial success and have a family, her child would suffer from a speech impediment.

This curse, as stated by Bella, was sent with great emotional pain, as she typed with tears in her eyes.

Bella also revealed that she, too, is someone’s daughter and has a voice, even if it’s different from what might be considered typical.

She expressed gratitude for being able to speak, despite the criticism she faces for her voice.

In her message, Bella also wished the user a lack of peace and asked her to remember the date of the conversation.

She said: “For the first time, I will pray for a stranger from the bottom of my heart. You will have money, you will get married, you will even have kids but one of your kids won’t be able to speak. Won’t have a voice. You will fly that child around the world seeking a solution but you won’t find it. Mark my words today. Typed this with tears in my eyes and so shall it be.

“I’m somebody’s daughter and I have a voice. It may not sound like a regular girls voice but she’s glad I’m able to speak. You shall know no peace. Amen. Save today’s date.”

In response, the Twitter user clarified that her intention was not to troll or harm Bella, stating that the post was meant to be humorous rather than malicious.

However, this explanation did not stop the criticism from the public and Bella herself.

Many people sided with Bella, arguing that the user’s post, accompanied by a laughing emoji, was intended for mockery.

Bella also went on to publicly share her thoughts over constantly being subjected to various forms of shaming, including for her body, voice, and accent. She expressed how tired she was of the continuous ridicule.

“I’m constantly body shamed, voice shamed, accent shamed and shamed for everything I do. Enough is enough. I’m Nigerian and I sound Nigerian!!! Let me be.”

Except she’s praying for herself, whatever the lady said doesn’t warrant this sort of prayer… if you can pray this kind of prayer over something this small, what if she has said “waste” that you were pronouncing instead of “waist “ Wetin for happen.

_simplyblossom: It’s easier for us to see what Bella typed as a curse cus we feel it’s too harsh but na only she know why she felt when this was said to her. You can say what you want but you can tell others how to feel about it. Seeing so many pple saying it’s not that deep,my dear what’s deep to you may not be deep to another person and it’s that small ones that may be deep for them. You pple should rest and stop trolling pple cus they’re human too.

marrzofficial: Well? The fact that you typed it with tears and blood in your eyes doesn’t mean it will work. Cos someone has probably done same for you, placed a curse with a bitter heart but God did not allow it work against your life too. So chill nne. it is well.

sallymanuel_:  I understand you’re hurt! But why will you lay a curse on an innocent unborn child? Face the person directly as the person did to you and leave the child out of this gosh

ella.co.co: This Jessica deserves! She’s always trolling Bella on Twitter. They even have a group on Twitter just to troll Bella.
