Life at Besiktas started on a fine note for Super Eagles striker, Michael Eneramo as his new team breezed to a 2-0 win in the season opener against Trabzonspor on Sunday August 18 2013.

Eneramo was not only handed a starting shirt, he was in action from start to finish and would have only wished to cap the night’s performance perhaps with a goal to his name.

While maximum points are in the kitty for Besiktas, it must be said that it wasn’t a stroll in the park as they had to wait till the 75th minute before they could break the deadlock and the goal scorer was Olcay ªahan.

Beskitas knew they needed at least one more goal to be sure of victory and that they did quickly enough as substitute Gokhan Töre sealed victory with his 82nd minute strike.

The presence of former Chelsea star Florent Malouda in the Trabzonspor line-up counted for little as the visitors returned home empty-handed.
