    Biola Bayo speaks out after arresting assistant over alleged theft

    Actress and producer Biola Bayo has disclosed how she arrested an assistant allegedly stealing from her.

    In a video posted on her Instagram page, Biola claimed she had her assistant arrested but the assistant continues to lie and attempt to frame her.

    Biola expressed frustration and exhaustion, stating that she’s tired of people trying to take advantage of her kindness.

    She noted that she’s not one to focus on people’s flaws, but this experience has left her feeling weak and questioning her sanity.

    “A lot of times behind our smile is a lot but we still try to make people happy and do our best.

    “My manager was stealing from me. Even my assistant, after she left, was also stealing. I got her arrested yesterday, and people were asking me to sue her in court, and I said I didn’t want to do that. I wish I listened to them because she is still lying, and they are looking for something to use against me. 

    “There is no way you try to please people; you can never satisfy them. If you know me very well, I don’t easily take offense or see people’s fault. I am not perfect but I realize that you can’t satisfy everyone. I’M JUST TIRED AND WEAK! People will make you question your sanity. Thank you to everyone who reached out to me on that case. I’m grateful for the love,” she wrote on Instagram.

    Secondary school dropout didn’t derail my dreams – Actress Biola Bayo

    Actress Biola Bayo has opened up about her experience as a secondary school dropout and how it reshaped her outlook on life.

    In an interview with Seun Oloketuyi on Nollywood on Radio, Biola discussed how, despite enduring financial struggles and missing out on several admissions due to a lack of funds, saying that her passion for education remained unwavering.

    “For me, education has always been it for me. I was a secondary school dropout, so education was intentional for me. So it wasn’t easy for me to go to school, so it was very difficult. I had several admissions that I denied because I didn’t have money and that was years back, so it was a tussle and struggle. I just don’t stop; I feel like there is always more to get”, she said.

    Bayo also revealed that she doesn’t settle for mediocrity and always strives to do better, regardless of her current position.

    “My lesson is that I don’t stop at any level of mediocrity; I feel I can always do better, regardless of the position that you are in now. I don’t feel too comfortable to remain in a position, so I am that type of person who will always aspire to do better”, she said.

    She also addressed the misconception that the Yoruba film industry is filled with uneducated individuals, highlighting that there have always been educated actors among them.

    “Even from time, there have been a lot of educated people among us. It’s probably because we had more people who were not so educated at that time, so it made it look like the industry was dominated by the illiterate but there are literates among us; there have always been. Way back, it was filled with school certificates and not university degrees and those schools’ certs know how to speak better, their English was so polished than what we have now”, she concluded.

    Movie star, Biola Bayo, has declared her comfort in her natural appearance, refusing to succumb to the pressure of undergoing Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.

    In a recent interview with Seun Oloketuyi on Nollywood on Radio, Bayo likened the BBL trend to the once-popular tattoo craze, predicting that it will eventually fade away.

    She stated: “The BBL will come and it will go. I don’t ever say never, so let me shock you: I am not thinking of it. I am not wired like that and I am comfortable in my skin. I don’t have ‘bumbum’ or breasts and if you don’t like me like that, it is your problem.

    “There was a time when there was an era of tattoos, and lots of my friends and colleagues did it, but I chose not to have it. But that didn’t stop me from being Biola Adebayo.”

    Actress Biola Bayo petitions Adenike for faking death

    Actress Biola Bayo has revealed that a guest on her podcast, “Talk to B”, faked her death after sharing a disturbing story of s3xual struggles and addiction.

    The guest, identified as Nike, claimed to have engaged in s3xual activities with dogs and later announced her suicide, which Biola shared on social media.

    However, Biola’s team investigated the inconsistencies in the story and discovered that Nike was alive.

    She wrote: “Press Statement. Miss Adenike Adewodun’s ‘Fake Death’ Antics

    “Our attention has been drawn to various reactions that have trailed the death of our guest on ‘Talk to B’, Miss Adenike; quite expectedly, but these are the facts .

    “Talk to B is a tell it all podcast created by award winning actress, Dr Abiola Adebayo to provide a listening ear for those who need someone to talk to, or assist in crowdfunding for those who seek help.

    “We’ve done 65 episodes so far,and in the course of that,we’ve offered free therapy and help for many to get back on their feet and crowdfunded for several. (Evidences are on our social media)

    “The case of Miss Adenike, while tragic, is a learning curve for us. She sent a message and was asked to come a,d we offered to get her therapy and all but she freaked out and in a very devilish and ungodly manner fa,ed her own death.

    “After the fake death news, we have tried to locate her house to properly express our deepest condolences but it was difficult to even pen a condolence letter, and the presenter and producer Abiola Adebayo was both emotionally and mentally disturbed for days.

    “In the course of properly mourning her, we noticed some discrepancies in what her so-called ‘sister’ was telling us and what her friend was saying and because we felt something was amiss. We dispatched the Director of the show on a fact finding mission who spoke with the friend before he traced the hospital where she was supposed to have been treated and we were told there and then that she didn’t die”, she said in part.

    Speaking further, Abiola said a petition was written to the Nigeria Police Force following their discovery, and Adenike and her friend, who announced her death, were arrested.

    Upon interrogation, Adewodun confessed to faking her death due to the backlash she received from the public after the podcast.

    “After this discovery, a petition was written by our attorney to the police to complain about the situation,and promptly, the Police investigated and arrested both Nike and her friend. The Police were also set to prosecute, and upon interrogation, Nike, who admitted that she was the one who approached Biola for the interview said she freaked out because people recognised her and said she felt that if she lied that she was dead Biola would remove the video. Police asked her if she reached out to Biola to remove the video at any point, and she said no. Her mother,who was there at the station ,corroborated the story and said, indeed the story she narrated at the interview was real,” the statement further read.

    Biola expressed relief and disappointment, stating that the incident was a learning experience for her podcast, which aims to provide a safe space for people to share their stories.

    Actress Biola Bayo has announced the return of her colleague, Osoba Temitope to the movie industry.

    The Nation reported a few days back that Temitope Osoba recounted a .traumatising moment of s3xual assault by an uncle.

    The Yoruba actress, who took a break from the industry, in an interview with Biola Bayo, revealed that she moved out of her ‘toxic’ grandmother’s house to stay with her uncle.

    Unfortunately, things turned out worse as her uncle was s3xually assaulting her and making advances towards her.

    According to her, the incident affected her career to some extent she suffered depression because of her inability to make ends meet.

    Following this, Biola Bayo has taken it upon herself to make sure she gets back on her feet.

    Taking to her Instagram page, Biola appealed to movie directors, producers and production managers to send scripts to her as she is fully back on her feet.

    She appealed to them to remember her when casting and give her support.

    One of us is back and fully back on her feet. Please let’s remember her in our casting. (Ko di igba taba ku Kato mo iyi Arawa) please let’s support ourselves like we have always done.

    Nollywood actress Biola Bayo became emotional as technical glitches affected the content uploaded on her YouTube platform.

    The role interpreter expressed her frustration, highlighting the considerable effort she invested in her weekly talk show.

    She shared her disappointment at facing criticism from trolls when things go awry.

    Biola explained the situation through a video on her Instagram, revealing that the recent episode of her talk show featuring her colleague, Olaide Oyedeji, had to be taken down due to poor editing.

    She revealed how she was brutally trolled and insulted by viewers on YouTube and this left her spirit dampened.

    The mother of one expressed that she hasn’t felt this disheartened in a while, deeply saddened and in pain due to the incident.

    She shared her heartbreak, emphasizing the significant effort and resources invested in creating the content.

    Biola extended her apologies to her fans, acknowledging the disappointment caused by the situation.

    She said: “Hey guys I apologize for Episode 26 of Talk To B that was uploaded this evening. I was actually on set when it was uploaded, and when I finished I got into the car and was trying to crosscheck what was uploaded and I just started seeing different comments about it skipping, being bad and all, someone even said I should remove the rubbish I uploaded on YouTube. This is painful, this got to me so bad because I put so much into it. I put so much into creating content even when there is no money in it. I am so bothered, I am so troubled, this pains me so much because I have put in so much effort, resources, time, and energy into doing this”.

    “I’m so sorry, there’s a serious technical issue with Episode 26. We have to pull it down immediately, please bear with me, while we rectify the issue. I apologize for the disappointment. I’m so down right now.”
