  • Biola Okoya resurfaces

Just when she appeared to be fizzling out from the minds of many, Biola Okoya, who was on self exile from the social scene, has made a resounding comeback. The daughter of the landlord of Oluwanisola Villa, Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya, resurfaced with a spring to her step and a young man in her company.

Biola seems to have found love in the arms of the man who happens to be in his 40s. Her new man, Yaya Ogunwusi, is one of the movers of the Lagos social scene.

Without a doubt, Biola Okoya has got her groove back.

  • What’s up with Biola Okoya and Fifi Ejindu?

There is but only a tenuous line between love and hate. That much can be deduced from the love gone sour between Biola Okoya and Fifi Ejindu, the great granddaughter of King James Ekpo Bassey of Cobham Town, Calabar. The once bosom friends appear unwilling to bury the hatchet that tore their friendship apart.

Biola and Fifi were once seen as models of friendship until a silent but bruising war developed between them. Fifi, a goddess of high society, and Biola, the fun-loving daughter of the landlord of Oluwanisola Villa, Chief Rasak Akanni Okoya, used to be so close that they did virtually everything together. They had fun at parties and made millions from joint businesses efforts.

Even the distance between Lagos and Abuja where Biola and Fifi resided did not seem to pose any problem as they carried on like Siamese twins. Hence the high society was shocked when rumours of their breakup began to enjoy generous mention in the news media. The situation was not helped by their refusal to debunk the rumours. In no time, the duo’s tag of bosom friends changed to sworn enemies. They were no longer seen in public together and they stared avoiding each other at public functions.

Efforts made by their friends to reunite them are said to have yielded no result as the two appear hell bent on remaining rivals.

    About Biola Okoya’s new looks

AFTER a long stay off the social radar, Biola Okoya, the fun-loving daughter of the landlord of Oluwanisola Villa, Chief Rasak Akanni Okoya, resurfaced from the blues at a naming ceremony in Ikoyi, Lagos last Sunday. Her‎ looks betrayed all that had been written about her since her sudden departure from the social arena. She spotted a low-cut and gold-tinted hair.

Prior to her re-emergence at the party, her whereabouts had been a subject of speculations in the media. There were different kinds of stories concerning her alleged tiff with another society lady, Fifi Ejindu and her troubled relationship with her Eleganza boss father. The speculations were not helped by the fact that she no longer attended any of her family’s functions.

Her father, with whom she used to share a strong affinity, was reported to have been miffed by her lifestyle. His inability to whip her into line purportedly created a wedge in their relationship.

Fifi Ejindu,Biola Okoya still Poles apart

Fifi Ejindu and Biola Okoya appear not to be in a hurry to put the past behind them. Celeb Watch once reported about the silent but bruising war between the two women who were once a reference point in affectionate friendship.

Society goddess, Fifi Ejindu, and Biola Okoya, the fun loving daughter of the landlord of Oluwanisola Villa, Chief Rasak Akanni Okoya, were so close that one would hardly see one without the other.

They shopped together and attended A-list parties together. Such was their closeness that the distance between them (Fifi lives in Abuja while Biola resides in Lagos) amounted to nothing. But all that changed as news of their break-up rent the public arena.

The rumour got substantiated with the decision of the pair not to deny any of the stories alleging a rift between them. In no time, the rumour spread and developed a life of its own as the former friends stopped going out together and even appeared to be avoiding each other at public functions. Celeb Watch gathered that efforts by their mutual friends to settle the rift between them have failed repeatedly.
