    How Bishop Oyedepo escaped attempted assassination – Daughter reveals

    Love Ogah, daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has recounted how her father escaped an alleged assassination attempt during her secondary school years.

    While preaching, Ogah said a group of hired assassins stormed their home, openly declaring their intent to kill Bishop Oyedepo.

    Despite an extensive search of the house, room by room, the attackers couldn’t find him.

    Ogah revealed that her father said he had been watching the intruders the entire time, remaining physically present yet invisible to them.

    She said, “The assassins came and said they came to kill my father. They searched everywhere, room to room, but couldn’t find him.

    “After they left, my father came out and said he saw them the whole time — they just couldn’t see him. All of us were looking like it was a film trick.”

    Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, has shared a remarkable testimony about a woman who conceived after intentionally tripping him during a visit to the United States. 

    According to Oyedepo, the woman, driven by faith, deliberately caused him to stumble when she noticed security personnel nearby.

    She ensured physical contact with him, believing it would lead to her long-desired pregnancy. 

    The bishop recounted the incident as an example of unwavering faith in action.

    Oyedepo recounted the story, saying: “A woman dealt with me somewhere in the U.S. I was there for a meeting and then she saw security here and there, and she said ‘today na today’, so she put her leg, and I stumbled. Then she told her husband ‘I’m pregnant’. He said ‘ehn, just now?’. She delivered nine months. Faith was alive.”

    Oyedepo expressed his passion for Nigeria’s development, envisioning a debt-free nation that celebrates righteousness in all areas.

    He said: “The change we want to see, we must be that change first and then we’ll see that change. A great Nigeria is a cheap possibility. Let’s begin from the beginning. Let’s begin with ourselves. Let’s be that change. Don’t make yourself a commodity to be bought. Be satisfied with Jesus. I love this Nation with passion. I want to be alive to see a brand-new Nation. I want to be alive to see a nation that is debt-free and celebrates righteousness in all areas”.

    Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has facilitated Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith Church, as he celebrates his 69th birthday.

    In a birthday message to the cleric, Governor Mutfwang reflected on the profound impact that Bishop Oyedepo has had on the lives of individuals worldwide.

    He lauded the Bishop as an epitome of resolute faith, whose messages of holiness and righteousness are delivered with courage and deep spirituality.

    He noted with delight, the exemplary leadership that Bishop Oyedepo has exhibited throughout his lifetime, saying it transcends barriers of faith, ethnicity, and region.

    He identified the virtues of selflessness, devotion, humility, sacrifice, and tolerance that have been consistently preached by the revered man of God.

    Governor Mutfwang also encouraged Bishop Oyedepo to continue steadfastly in his fearless and unwavering propagation of the Gospel of Christ, even in the face of societal challenges.

    He assured the Bishop of his support, as well as the support of the people of Plateau State.
