#BBNaija: Read Biggie’s emotional parting words to Bisola

Big Brother Naija show has come and gone, with Efe Ejeba clinching the N25 million and SUV prize.

Memories however abound of how some housemates had fared in the 78-day reality show.

One of them, Bisola, the first runner-up had an emotional session with Big Brother shortly before the final ceremony.

The multi-talented entertainer and mother of one told Big Brother in a Diary Room session that win or lose; “I feel like a winner already,” explaining that it took her eight years to be selected as a participant, and that she believes the show will impact her future endeavors greatly.

Big Brother who expressed optimism for her talents admonished her in a touching way, as she fought back tears.

Here is what Biggie said to her, making her to cry even more:

“It’s been an amazing experience having you in the house – your versatility, your incredibility. Yes, there have been moments you have told big Brother that certain things you have done and may have said, that you wish to take them back; but who can judge you, except they have been through this experience themselves. It’s always good to find out why people do what they do. That curiosity leads to understanding, and understanding opens up the human souls to compassion, and compassion is the cornerstone of love. For there is no guilt in humans, all there is, is love. Bisola, as you leave tonight, may genuine love find you. May you prosper beyond your imagination. You are a gold fish… you are a gold fish; there will be no hiding place for you. All the good things will locate you. You can sing, you can act… the question is not what can Bisola do? It is what can’t Bisola do? Big Brother has truly enjoyed your stay in the house and wishes you all the very best in your future endeavor. You’ve got a Midas touch, go touch anything a d it will turn to gold. Good luck to you…”

As the winner of the ONE campaign presentation, Bisola will be joining Honorable Desmond Elliot, Sarah Makka and other ambassadors of the ONE campaign initiative on a trip to New York where she will be speaking further at the United Nations Assembly on the importance of the girl-child education.

    …Gets N25 million, SUV
Bisola, first runner up, TBoss, second runner up

After 78 days of dramatic activities in the Big Brother Naija (BBN) house, the lifestyle reality show came to an end, Sunday night, with Delta State contestant, Efe Ejeba winning the coveted prize of N25 million and a Kia Seranto SUV.
Efe, an upcoming rapper and last man standing on the show beat fellow finalists – Bisola, TBoss, Debie-Rise and Marvis – in a tension-filled finale that had fans of the show canvassing vigorously for their preferred housemates.
The 24-hour three-month long live show which commenced recording in Johannesburg, South Africa on January 22, 2017, with 12 housemates who were later joined by two others, and another two but fake housemates, climaxed in glamorous live performances that had DJ Neptune, music artistes Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, Tiwa savage and Emmy Gee, throwing up so much vibes amidst pomp.
While in the house, Efe, who is the youngest contestant – aged 24 – was unique for his frankness, multiple-term as Head of House, and his common use of pidgin diction with jokey phrases.
A graduate of Economics from the University of Jos, Plateau State, the self-acclaimed ‘street’ boy, who was one of the usually nominated housemates for possible eviction, had, each time, led the vote chart.
Female housemate and multi-talented entertainer, Bisola was a high contender for the prize. She told Big Brother in a Diary Room session earlier that win or lose; “I feel like a winner already.” She noted that it took her eight years to be selected as a participant, and believes the show will impact her career greatly.
Big Brother who expressed optimism for her talents admonished her in a touching way, as she fought back tears. It was the most emotional last Diary Room session.
He said: “It’s been an amazing experience having you in the house – your versatility, your incredibility. 2Baba opened the show, singing his latest song, ‘Holy Holy’, followed by Mavin Record’s First Lady, Tiwa Savage with ‘Key to the City’. When Emmy Gee climbed the stage featuring AB Crazy and DJ Dimplez, they sang ‘Rands and Nairas’. Tiwa Savage returned one more time to the stage, doing the medley, ‘Romatic’ and ‘All Over’, while 2Baba closed the performances with the classic, ‘African Queen’.

It was a live crossing show, with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu hosting the South African studio leg, while former BBN winner, Katung Aduwak anchored the live broadcast from the Lagos screening center, the Classique Event Place, Kudirat Abiola Way, Ikeja, with fans of the show, sponsors, Nigerian media and past contestants of the show.
Marvis was the first to leave the house. When asked if she would want to further her relationship with Efe, she became evasive. Marvis’ exit was followed by that of guitar girl Debie-Rise who had disappointment written all over her. Asked where her heart belongs between Efe and Bassey, she noted that although it was natural to get attracted to one or two persons, “But I really like Bassey.”
It was jubilation at the Lagos screening center when TBoss was evicted, just as the crowd at the Johannesburg studio where sort of booing her. She had been the most controversial housemate, noted for a beautiful body, full of tattoos and piercings which she displayed at will. The internet was abuzz last week when it was said that the Nigerian-Romanian housemate could not recite the National Anthem. She, also being the reason Kemen was disqualified from the show. However, she was declared overall winner of Friday Payporte arena games with a voucher of N500, 000 for shopping.
Presenting another side-laurel; the ONE campaign prize, won by Bisola, was Honorable Desmond Elliot and Sarah Makka. She will be joining organisers in New York to speak further at the United Nations Assembly on educating the girl-child.
When Efe was declared winner, it was clear Bisola was the first runner-up.
Previously evicted housemates include Miyonse, Soma, CocoIce, Gifty, Uriel, ThinTallTony, Bassey, Balley, and Kemen, who was disqualified for breaking the rule of the game. They were all present at the Lagos live screening.
In the last three months, Big Brother Naija was estimated to be the most watched show on the African continent, shutting down Instagram, Facebook and Twitter with trending issues on a daily basis.

She said it was her discipline and compassion that brought her this far adding that she would give her best to ensure she took home the grand prize.

The guitar girl mentioned her friend, Tboss as her main competition, “because she is an amazing, caring, beautiful and homely person and she has everything it takes to win.

Another housemate, Bisola said the mood in the house was calm adding that everyone felt a strong sense of relief and accomplishment after making it to the last week.

She stressed that they (Five finalists) are winners in respective of who emerges the winner on Sunday April 9.

Bisola recounted how she had auctioned for Big Brother countless times and smiled broadly when she was picked to participate in the ongoing series adding, “I don suffer for this life and I really don’t want to go back to that.”

Marvis on the other hand thanked and appreciated Biggie for the experience and that she was going to miss everything.

She said Bisola though a friend, remain her toughest competition; she also said she was grateful for the opportunity to be in the show which according to her has fast track her career in showbiz as an actress.

Tboss on her part said Big Brother had made her a fighter and that she was realising what it takes to be a fighter.

She said Marvis was her biggest threat in the game.

Efe, the only man among four ladies said he had a fighter’s spirit and added that Bisola was his biggest threat.

He also commended her (Bisola) for being a competitive, honest and outspoken person just like he is.

Earlier, the housemate had hosted Nigerian popular song writer, singer and performer, David Adeleke.

He came with ‘sushi’ and champagne in tow to pay the housemates a visit.

The usual tour of the house was done before everyone settled down in the dining area and popped open the bottle of champagne.

Davido discussed the merits of being true to oneself and pointed out that he made more money in mere months than he had made over the years after deciding to go local and champion his course.

BBN: TBoss, Debie-Rise, Bally, Marvis up for eviction

    …Bisola saves Efe from eviction

Tension returned to the Big Brother Naija house as Monday’s fresh nominations put TBoss, Debie-Rise, Bally, and Marvis up for eviction, just less than 24 hours after the trio of Bally, TBoss and Debbie-Rise narrowly escaped eviction.

The house also experienced a rare change in leadership as Bisola became victorious in this week’s head of house contest, after over 78 days of anticipation and several botched attempts at clinching the house leadership. She emerged top after winning the head of house contest. Bisola replaces Efe, who was the immediate past ultimate head of House and was unfortunately nominated for eviction but was saved by Bisola, the new queen of the house.

The nomination jolted some of the housemates who all have to sit back and re-think their strategies. For embattled Debie-Rise and TBoss, synergy appears to be the working strategy as both openly canvassed for voters’ support. Recall that both of them have been up for eviction back to back in the last two weeks.

TBoss got upset after taking a look at the eviction wall and realising she had been put up for possible eviction eight times and there are only two times she hasn’t been up.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during last Sunday’s live eviction show, said, at least, one of the newly nominated housemates will have to go home by Sunday.

The next eviction show holds on Sunday, April 1, 2017.

Organisers have urged viewers to save their favorite housemates. In Nigeria, viewers are expected to text the word “Vote” followed by the housemate’s name to 32052. While for the rest of Africa, they are advised to follow the AfricaMagictv official account on WeChat and click on the menu option ‘BBNaija’ and select their preferred housemate.

The show is aired 24/7 in 45 countries from Nigeria through East, West and Southern Africa on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.

Big Brother Naija is sponsored by online retail store, PayPorte.

#BBNaija Day 51: Tboss, Bisola clash over breakfast

Bisola and Tboss, housemates in the on-going Big Brother Naija (#BBNaija) reality TV series were engaged in a heated argument over breakfast during the early morning chores on Tuesday.

Tboss had asked Bisola what she was preparing for breakfast and she responded by saying she was making French toast.

In her response, Tboss said she was tired of eating French toast and continued in her prodding questions while Bisola was still preparing the breakfast.

Bisola flipped at Tboss for asking too many questions while she was cooking and this led to a heated argument.

She reiterated that she hated being micromanaged in the kitchen and being called aggressive so, she snapped.

During the face-off, the F-bombs flew back and forth from both housemates while Bisola stormed out of the house.

Bassey, the head of the house who struggled to ensure peace among the housemates, admonished Tboss and Bisola to relax the negative energy, settled and make peace with each other.

While addressing the housemates, Bassey said that the task in the house would not go on until when there was peace and harmony in the house.

“Tboss and Bisola; you guys had a little battle this morning; I like to say that for one person to be wrong, the other person was wrong first; I am not pointing fingers at anybody, but two wrongs cannot make a right.

“If the two of you can sincerely sit in your private space and reflect on the happening this morning, you will find out that somewhere, somehow you might have made wrong statement or comments.

“In the spirit of the week, we cannot be kind to people if we are not kind to ourselves and we cannot be charitable if we are not living in peace.

“I am not going to ask you to apologise openly to us; I would like you guys to walk and apologise to each other geninuely,” Bassey said.

He appealed to the housemates to be together in peace and harmony.

Similarly, one of the housemates, Efe maintained that if Tboss and Bisola would apologise to each other, there would be happiness in the house.

“If una go apologise, everybody go happy; that one go show say we don move on for the matter.

“And once there is no more quarrel that is when we can discuss more kindness, charity and other positive issues,” Efe said.

Bassey the Head of House gave Tboss the opportunity to narrate her own side of what led to the confrontation with Bisola.

She said “If am confused about something I would ask; I cleaned the bedroom, toilet and other things today without saying a word to anyone.

“All I asked Bisola was that does curry goes with honey? All she could say was yes or no, Chikinah.

“She then responded that ‘ If you don’t want to eat breakfast, don’t eat’; I was not trying to hurt or cheat her, I only asked an honest question,” Tboss said.

In her response, Bisola said she always allowed people in the Big Brother House had their ways in the kitchen because she would not want to argue on matters relating to cooking.

“Even when Uriel and Jon took over the kitchen, everyone eat the French Toast they made.

“I discovered that the bread in the house is about to get spoil so I discussed with Bally yesterday that we should made French Toast this morning.

“I was in the kitchen trying to prepare French toast when Tboss came and asked what’s for breakfast; I told her and she said she doesn’t like French toast.

“So I say na Bisola time to cook and something don dey happen; next I heard her asked can you eat honey and French Toast and I said no but with pancake yes.

“Next she said, with black pepper, I kept quiet, because I was mixing the ingredients; when I pick the curry and Maggi to add, she said with curry inside the thing again.

“That was when I flipped and said if you don’t want to breakfast, don’t eat nah,” she stressed.

According her, Tboss started saying her (Bisola’s) voice was too loud and that she, Bisola was being aggressive.

Other housemates were watching quietly while the argument, tension and exchanged of word ensued. (NAN)

BBNaija Day 49: Tbos plans to kidnap me for a day outside the house – ThinTallTony

With no eviction on Day 49, ThinTallTony (TTT), one of the housemates in the ongoing reality TV show Big Brother Nigeria has disclosed that Tbos has plans to kidnap him for one day outside the BBNaija house.
TTT who was Head of House for two weeks in a roll spoke of the plan during interaction with Ebuka the anchor of the Sunday live show.
He said Tbos told him of the plan during a discussion he had with her.
When asked if Bisola, TTT’s favourite housemate would approve of the said kidnap, she said “no”.
TTT during the interaction with Ebuka also confessed learning a lot from a fellow housemate, Bisola.
“Me and Bisola; there is a level of understanding that we both shared; she is an adult and fun to be around with.
“She is just on point; she dey make me feel fine, I no dey miss house because of her.
“She is very creative and easy to talk to; I learnt a lot from her; I always learn from everyone but because I spent a lot of time with her, I learnt so much from her,” TTT stressed.
Meanwhile another housemate, Efe said he earlier saw the idea of the house marriage to Marvis as a joke.
He, however, said he had to get into the character to put up a superlative performance in the marriage drama.
Efe said the character he played was cool and his feelings, as the groom, for Marvis was mutual.

Earlier, the housemates performed the ONE Campaign song on girl-child education.

Highpoints of the Sunday live show was the performance by Nyanya and Tayo and also a flashback about the evicted housemates.

Since the show started in January, six real housemates and two fake housemates have been evicted.

The evicted included Soma, Miyonse, Coco Ice, Gifty and Uriel while the fake evicted housemates were Ese and Jon.

Kemen, who was the sixth evicted housemate, was disqualified by Big Brother for fondling Tboss while she was fast asleep beside him.

After Uriel’ eviction, Big Brother said there would be no eviction on Sunday, Day 49.

Eight of the housemates are still in the race to win the 25 million naira and a brand new SUV prize. The eight are Bally, Bisola, Efe, Marvis, TBoss, Thin Tall Tony, Debie-Rise and Bassey.(NAN).

  • #BBNaija Day 44: Bisola desires romantic task with ThinTallTony

#BBNaija Day 44: Bisola desires romantic task with ThinTallTony

Bisola, one of the housemates in the on-going Big Brother Naija (#BBNaija) reality TV series on Tuesday said she looks forward to a “romantically oriented” task with her fellow housemate ThinTallTony(TTT) .

It would be recalled that the two housemates have been displaying affection for each in the house.

The love birds have also received criticisms from viewers due to their explicit actions in the house.

Bisola said this during her dairy session with “Biggie” owner of the #BBNaija house.

When asked by Biggie “who among the housemates would you want to be tied with in a romantically orientated task,? She responded “Thin Tall Tony.”

Bisola explained that she was comfortable with TTT because he knows how to tolerate her excesses.

“I can be little over bearing sometimes; I can’t play with other housemates the way I play with Tony; with Tony I can have fun.”

Bisola and TTT’s closeness keeps growing by the day.

Bisola who also spoke on Kemen’s disqualification from the show last Sunday expressed regrets for some unprintable comments she made about Tboss.

She said her comments were based on what Kemen told the housemates

” I said some unprintable worlds about her, but when she called me aside and told me what went down, I was like yooo!.

“I felt really bad; I miss Kemen, I admired his drive, focus and the fact that he loves to help other youths.

“But on what he did; even if Tboss didn’t say anything or didn’t know what happened, as long as Big Brother saw it, it was enough for Big Brother to disqualified him.

“It was really bad, I was disappointed in Kemen for what he did; I didn’t know what pushed him, but I do miss him though,” Bisola said.

The housemate also said, she hoped the disqualification would not hinder him and his future plans.

She also apologised to Tboss adding, “I like her, but just that sometimes she over does certain things in the house.

“And me, I have a big mouth and will just talk about it, but she thinks I don’t like her,” Bisola said.

On Uriel’s eviction, Bisola said it was shocking because she did not think Uriel was going to leave.

According to her Uriel, who was evicted last Sunday, was the house favorite and always lending helping hands to other housemates when there was a need.

Earlier, Biggie who was in a prankful mood ordered the housemates to freeze while some Ninja’s sprayed whipped cream all over their bodies.

  • #BBNaija: No eviction next Sunday after Uriel, Kemen sent packing

#BBNaija: No eviction next Sunday after Uriel, Kemen sent packing

There will be no eviction of any housemate from the Big Brother Nigeria House next Sunday.

This was the decision of Biggie after two housemates were evicted for different reasons.

While Kemen was evicted for inappropriate behaviour to one of the housemates, TBoss, Uriel left the normal way, after scoring the lowest vote among the seven housemates billed for eviction.

The Seven housemates were; Efe, Uriel, Kemen, who has been disqualified for violating house rules, Debie-Rise, Bassey, TBoss, and Marvis.

Uriel, the housemates’ favourite got the lowest votes of 7.9.

She would have been saved because Kemen had 4.8. But he was earlier disqualified, which brought Uriel next in line.

In a brief interview with Ebuka after she left the house, Uriel said that everything in the house about her was real.

The Imo State born make up artist said it was an amazing experience in the house with challenging tasks.

“Things that I would normally not be able to do, I did them in the Big Brother House.”

She said Ese was cool and knew the right button to press, but that no one can press her (Uriel’s) button.

She also explained that Ese said some nasty things about her in the Diary Room adding that she also gave it back to her.

However, she was shocked when Ebuka revealed to her that Ese and Jon were fake housemates.
The fifth evicted housemate said she would focus on her music and may open a beauty shop outside the Big Brother Naija Game Show.

The eviction night show saw Nigerian talented Rhythm and Blues singer Banky W putting up a scintillating performance.

NAN reports that Uriel’s eviction on Day 42 has brought to five of the housemates that have been evicted. With Kemen, being disqualified, six housemates have now left the show.

Those evicted were Coco Ice, Soma, Miyonse and Gifty; six housemates are still in the house for the 25 million naira and an SUV prize to the winner. They are ThinTallTony, Debie-Rise, Efe, TBoss, Marvis and Bassey.
