Afrobeats sensation, Francis Chijioke aka Blak-i is making waves with his style of music in Germany and Europe as a whole.
The Port-Harcourt-born musician, who is also a songwriter, producer, and DJ relocated to Germany years back, in search of greener pastures, and ended up doing music.
Blak-i began his career as a rapper and had his first single featuring German singer, Northside. He said he wrote his first lyrics while in secondary school.
He also sings in German language with a string of hits over an enduring career with songs including Obinwanne, Prayer for Nigeria, Gbadu you Soccer Fiesta, Happy Birthday and his latest single, Waka Waka featuring Cedar Case.

The singer, who has once shared the stage with the likes of 2Baba, Duncan Mighty, J Martins among others, believes that his best is yet to be seen in terms of sounds and messages conveying positive vibes.
Interestingly, Blak i is the president of German Afrobeats All Stars, a group of rising stars who came together to promote the Afrobeats culture, while sojourning in Europe.
On his latest single, Waka Waka, Blak-i said the song was inspired by the positive energy that Nigerians are known for, despite facing different challenges both at home and in diaspora.
