Upwardly mobile Lagos lawyer, Bosun Osifowora has displayed his capacity in the scheme of things on the social scene in Nigeria.
Osifowora has shown that his influence on the legal scene for many years on the job cuts across various political and socio-economic lines.
This was evident after the passing of his mother, Madam Silifat Ajoke Osifowora, at the age of 79. Since the announcement of his mother’s passing in March 2025, Osifowora’s home in Surulere, Lagos, has witnessed the visitation of top dignitaries in large numbers to commiserate with the family and also show solidarity and support for the distinguished lawyer.

Osifowora’s home simply became a Mecca of sorts for top dignitaries, associates and clients, who came to condole with the erudite lawyer and bid his mother farewell.
The burial ceremony of Madam Osifowora was held on Friday, April 25, and it kicked off with a Night of Tribute that was held at the WIB Osifowora’s residence in Ijebu-Ife, Ogun State on April 18, 2025, and was followed by a wake keep and service of songs at the Teslim Balogun Stadium car park on April 24, where friends, family and associates gathered to bid the Osifowora’s matriarch farewell.
