    One of Nigeria’s leading fashion brands, Okechi Stores, has officially unveiled popular actor, model, influencer, and content creator Ubong Frank, widely known as UB of Lagos, as its brand ambassador.

    The endorsement agreement was formally signed today at the company’s corporate office in Ajah, Lagos, marking a significant milestone in Okechi Stores’ strategic brand expansion.

    Describing the partnership as a defining moment for the company, the management of Okechi Stores noted that the endorsement signals the beginning of a new era of growth, increased visibility, and excellence for the brand.

    Speaking on the development, the Chief Executive Officer of Okechi Stores, Chijioke Ifeanyi Nnanna, expressed excitement over the collaboration, describing it as a long-awaited vision brought to life.

    “This is a huge dream come true for us. We have closely monitored Ubong Frank, popularly known as UB of Lagos, for six months. What stands out most is his genuine passion for the fashion industry, his consistency, and his strong influence.     The endorsement deal, valued at 15 million naira, covers a six-month ambassadorial engagement.

These are the reasons I am proud to be associated with the brand. I strongly believe that within the next six months, Okechi Stores will become a household name, not only in Nigeria but across Africa,” he stated.

    The endorsement is expected to significantly strengthen Okechi Stores’ market presence while reinforcing its reputation as a fashion brand committed to innovation, quality, and excellence.

  • Wasco unveils Brand Ambassador Maryam Booth

    As part of its ongoing strategy to consolidate its market share in Nigeria,  the West African Seasoning  Company, manufacturers of monosodium glutamate seasoning, Ajino-Moto has in Kano, unveiled the popular Kannywood Actress, as its brand Ambassador in the Northern Nigeria market.

    While unveiling Maryam Boot, as the new Ambassador of Ajino-Moto, she expressed her readiness to support and partner, with the WASCO team, so as to promote Ajino-Moto, as the leading MSG, brand in the Northern market, which guarantees healthy culinary satisfaction for the entire family.

    Despite coping, with encroachment into the its market  share by competitors, especially masked distributors of unwholesome, in legal MSG wraps from China, Ajino-Moto has remained consistent in delivering quality seasoning for wholesome culinary delights for families over the years.

  • OK Foods unveils brand ambassador

    OK Foods Limited has named Mr Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana as the brand ambassador for its new menthol flavoured candy, Topmint.

    OK Foods Limited, a leading player in the confectionery and biscuits business in Nigeria for many years, recently launched the new menthol flavoured candy with “Topmint” as the brand name .

    Its Managing Director, Mr. Murali Krishnan, who spoke at the official signing ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, said Topmint candy is a winning product that has been tested amongst consumers and rated higher on parameters such as taste, size and mint strength when compared to other mint brands available in the Nigerian market.

    Commenting on his appointment, Falana, popularly known as FalzTheBahdGuy, said he shares the same ideals of sharp, witty, smart and creativity with the brand essence of Topmint candy.

    Nigerian Breweries (NB), a Heineken company and Nigeria’s largest brewer, has announced the signing of award- winning Nigerian rapper and entertainer, Phyno, as its new Brand Ambassador for the leading Southeast premium beer brand, Life Continental Lager Beer.

    Speaking at the unveiling ceremony at the weekend, its Marketing Director, Mr Maria Franco Maggi, said: “Working with a great act like Flavour and this new collaboration with Phyno- one of Nigeria’s most successful artistes and a proud son of the Igbo community, is further proof of Life Continental Lager beer’s mission of effectively promoting Igbo highlife music, beliefs, traditions and progressive cultural values.”

    The deal, which was signed at the Nigerian Breweries Plc. corporate head office in Lagos, will see the new ambassador featuring in Life Continental Beer advertising and marketing campaigns and will also make special appearances at events.

    Award-winning Nigerian rapper, Phyno has been made the face of leading Southeast premium beer brand, Life Continental Lager Beer, a product of Nigerian Breweries Plc.

    This deal which was signed at the company’s corporate head office in Lagos on May 31, will have the artiste function as new ambassador of the brand, featuring in Life Continental Beer advertising and marketing campaigns, and making special appearances at the product’s events.

    Pepsi unveils Tekno as brand ambassador

    Thousands of music lovers yesterday witnessed the equivalent of the coronation of singer and producer, Tekno, as Pepsi brand ambassador.
    He was unveiled at the Pepsi Corporate Elite Concert 2017 tagged Pepsi weekend takeover in Lagos.
    The audience cheered and was ecstatic as Tekno came on stage for a brief performance.
    Born Augustine Miles Kelechi to Nigerian parents, Tekno joins the rich Pepsi global brand ambassadors’ hall of fame, which includes Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyounce, Black Eyed Peas, Nicki Minaj and Britney Spears among others.
    This illustrious company also includes Nigerian Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Davido and Seyi Shay. Most of the fans commended Pepsi for the endorsement deal, saying it is in recognition of the hard work and commitment of the artiste.
    Tekno, whose music is enjoying critical acclaim in Nigeria and globally, said he was delighted to join the Pepsi family. He promised his fans “more music Naija style” in the coming months and years.

    Former Super Eagles’ coach, Samson Siasia has been unveiled as the brand ambassador of the Paris Saint Germain-IRUKKA football talent hunt.

    Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Lagos, the M.D. , PSG-IRUKKA, Chinedu Oguike believes Siasia having coached virtually all the age-group national teams in the country represents the ideals of the project.

    His words: “Siasia’s dynamism in coaching and youths development speaks volume and we cannot but identify with him to assist us project this initiative.

    “You will agree with me that Samson (Siasia) is a role model to so many Nigerian young footballers and we believe they would have something to learn from him.”

    The former Dream Team VI handler, however, praised the organisers of the project for creating a platform for the national team coaches to pick players from.

    “With a project such as this, our coaches can always visit the data base and pick players as it is always difficult to discover players and teach them how to play,” he said.

    The talent hunt, according to the organizers, is designed to search and scout for young football talents between the ages of 13 and 17 years in Nigeria for further nurturing and development in France.

    The screening is slated between May and July of this year in 14 cities, just as entry forms would be available in all UBA branches and accredited agents across the country.

    NOLLYWOOD actress, Rachael Oniga, has relished her choice as the brand ambassador of Revolution Plus, a property development company.

    The light skinned actress was unveiled by the company at its corporate headquarters based in Ikeja, Lagos and vouched for the business.

    “I accepted to be the brand ambassador because I carefully studied them after talking with other organisations and found out that they are credible,” said Oniga.

    The Managing Director cum Chief Executive Officer, Mr BamideleOnalaja, explained why the company chose the soft spoken Nollywood actress.

    “We chose her for three major reasons,” said Onalaja.

    “The first is that she has been scandal free all along. She is an artiste of repute and thirdly, she is multi lingua. With her, we are taking the brand from being young to being bold. We develop estates all over the country and have never toyed with our integrity over the years. This is to tell the world about our projects.”

    RED Media co-founder Adebola Williams has been signed on as a brand ambassador by Nigeria’s next generation network, Globacom. Williams, who is among the new set of brand ambassadors signed on by Globacom, has begun work by taking part in a television commercial being aired in Nigeria and globally through CNN.

    William’s engagement signifies a new resolve by Globacom to widen its scope to include younger and hardworking Nigerian entrepreneurs whose exploits and allied endeavour are providing inspiration for the younger generation.

    Globacom, it was learnt, also plans to demonstrate to Nigerian youths that without being in sports and entertainment, they could still be rewarded and celebrated so long as they showed diligence in their chosen areas of endeavour, especially, entrepreneurship.

    A co-owner of highly successful brands, the Future Awards Africa, Y! Africa and YNaija.com, Williams played significant roles in the rebranding of President Muhammadu Buhari and contributed significantly to the President’s youth-oriented campaign events.

    Williams, an alumnus of the London School of Journalism, London School of Marketing and School of Media and Communications of the Pan African University, recently became an Obama Mandela Washington Fellow.
