  • UBA unveils 30 student Brand Ambassadors

    The United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has restated its commitment to the educational sector with the unveiling of 30 students as UBA Brand Ambassadors for the year in the third edition of its Campus Ambassador Programme.

    The students, made up of 17 males and 13 females, chosen from various tertiary institutions across the country, were selected based on some criteria, including leadership and creative skills as well as the ability to promote the UBA brand as campus ambassadors.

    UBA’s Campus Ambassador Programme is UBA’s initiative to identify young emerging leaders from tertiary institutions and give them a unique and highly rewarding learning experience while also grooming them to be effectual leaders in their societies and country at large. The programme is also an opportunity for the bank to give back to students who remain a core component of the bank’s legacy.

    UBA Group Head, Digital and Consumer Banking, Anant Rao, who spoke at the unveiling at the bank’s Head Office in Lagos on Friday, explained that the UBA Campus Ambassador programme offered a unique opportunity to students to be part of the bank by representing the brand both within and outside the campus.

    He noted that the programme was designed to present a learning experience and a highly rewarding pursuit for students, and provide them with a platform to display their leadership capabilities and showcase their talents which will, in turn, drive further growth to the bank.

    He said: “We are glad because since we began this programme a few years ago, the narrative has indeed changed. We are seen as a bank for the young and vibrant and we have been able to develop leadership skills, creativity among the youth. And so with your successful selection, I am happy to say that your learning experience has already begun. You are expected to exhibit the core values of the bank, show the spirit of excellence, execution and enterprise in whatever you do.”

     

  • TomTom signs Phyno, Teni as Brand Ambassadors

    Popular candy brand, TomTom has signed rap act, Phyno and rising singer Teni as Brand Ambassadors.

    At the unveil ceremony on Monday in Lagos, the product’s company, Cadbury Nigeria Plc., said it wanted to connect further with their consumers through music. And the contract would involve the duo featuring in the TomTom’s brand and marketing campaigns, including advertisements and special appearances at its events.

    Both Teni and Phyno expressed excitement at working with Tom Tom. “I’m really excited to work with Tom Tom,” said the Uyo Meyo crooner who revealed that Tom Tom had always been part of lunch box as a child.

    Phyno also praised and thanked the brand, saying: “A session without Tom Tom is hell. Thank you Tom Tom for choosing me and choosing Teni to represent this brand.”

    The Managing Director, Cadbury Nigeria Plc Mr. Amir Shamsi expressed delight at the influence of the ambassadors and said: “The Nigerian entertainment industry has remained a major sector for the Nigerian youths to thrive and TomTom is very delighted to go all the way to showcase passion points of millions and hopefully contribute to the success of many more.”

    In his remark, the Marketing Manager, Cadbury Nigeria Plc, Mr. Aruleba Olumide, said that the choice of Phyno and Teni is strategic to the new marketing objectives of the brand.

    To push its brand in Africa, online Gift-card and Cryptocurrency exchange company, PATRICIA, has unveiled 14 entertainers and influencers as brand ambassadors.

    Among those unveiled includes On-Air-Personality and TV Host Nedu, Instagram influencer, Janemena, WoliAgba, Oluwadolarz and Xploit Comedy. Others are Funny Toheeb, Demgohearword, Steve Chuks, Ogbeni Adan, HolySwagger, Datwarrigirl and BabaAlariya.

  • Property firm unveils brand ambassadors

    REVELATION Properties Group has unveiled its special end of the year offer package tagged ‘season of giving promo’.
