    Comedian Buchi reunites with daughter after custody battle

    Comedian and actor Onyebuchi Ojieh, popularly known as Buchi, has reunited with his daughter in a video shared on Instagram.

    According to Buchi, his daughter traveled from the United States to Canada to meet him.

    In a heartfelt video posted on his social media platform, Buchi expressed his deep gratitude and joy at being reunited with his child. “Grateful every day. Truly blessed. My baby came all the way from the US by herself to see me in Canada,” he wrote.

    The reunion follows a highly publicised custody battle between Buchi and his ex-wife, Rukky.

    In November 2023, Buchi expressed frustration on Instagram, alleging his ex-wife and her parents denied him access to his children, demanding money before allowing visits with accusation that they “abducted” his kids.

    Buchi and Rukky married in 2017 and have two children together.

    Reports of marital issues emerged in 2022, with speculation about challenges, including alleged violence.

    Advising singles, Solomon Buchi emphatically stated that fornication is not a Valentine’s Day gift and that unmarried couples should avoid all forms of sexual conduct as the February 14 approaches.

    I have been granted full access to my kids, says Comedian Buchi

    Popular comedian, Buchi Ojieh, has taken to social media to announce that he has finally been granted access to his kids.

    The Nation reported that Buchi recently called out the parents of his estranged wife, Rukky, for allegedly denying him access to his kids.

    He alleged that his former parents-in-law were demanding money from him before they could grant him access to his children.

    The comic actor wrote via his Instagram page on Monday: “I have been granted full access to my kids. We are better in all things. Thank you, everyone. The good, the bad, the ugly. Thank you, the Salamis, Mama Azmin, Engr Isede #1 grandpa. Update dropping soon.”

    Comedian Buchi accuses estranged wife’s family of allegedly abducting kids

    Comedian Buchi has accused the family of his estranged wife of “abducting” their children, Isede and Salami, and preventing him from having any contact with them.

    According to the comedian, his estranged in-laws are facilitating the process and making it difficult for him to reunite with his kids.

    He expressed his frustration on Instagram and warned the family about obstructing legal procedures.

    He wondered how his estranged wife’s parents would have reacted if the same was done to them, especially in light of the time and effort they’d invested in nurturing them.

    He wrote: “You facilitated the ABDUCTION of my kids. ISEDEs and SALAMIs. You can stop me from talking to them. You can’t stop the law.

    “Mr and Mrs Salami if someone took Josh and Daniella after all you went through…una go survive am? I want access to my kids

    “You have your kids, allow me access to my kids. Family wen dey repay good with wickedness. I never stopped you from talking to your father.”

    The “My Flatmates” star and his erstwhile wife, Rukky got married in January 2017 in a ceremony that was a combination of glitz, glamour, and splendor, and the union was blessed welcomed two kids.

    Their marriage however packed up in 2022 due to allegations bordering on domestic abuse against the wife.

    Gospel singer Buchi has denied reports of his death advising the public to disregards the rumour spreading on social media.

    He spoke in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Wednesday.

    According to him: “There is no truth in this, as I am sound, spirit, soul, and body. It is unfortunate that desperation has driven many into all manner of mischief. Thank you all for your care and concern.”
