Rising afrobeats star, Taves, the mentee of BNXN formerly known as Buju, has expressed admiration and love for senior colleague, Davido.
Taves revealed via his X platform that all he ever wanted to do was to keep his head down and focus on his music.

He noted how he grew up listening to Davido’s hit songs Aye and Dami Duro.
He declared that all he has for Davido is nothing but love and respect, calling him a legend and noting how Davido and others paved the way for him.
“All I ever wanted to do is keep my head down & focus on my music. I grew up on Aye & Dami Duro. I have nothing but love and respect for the legends that have done it before me,” he said.
