    One of Nigeria’s leading music labels, Bullion Records, has announced the signing of a 20-year-old Afrobeat prodigy, Abdul Rahman Yusuf, known as Harcher.

    The signing ceremony, which took place yesterday, Friday, December 6, 2024, was held at 29 Abebi Close, Goodwill Estate, Bemil, Ojodu Abiodun, Berger, Lagos, just before the official commissioning of the new Bullion Records Music House.

    At the event, the CEO of Bullion Records, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, expressed his excitement about Harcher joining the label. He described the young talent as a “breath of fresh air” in the Nigerian music industry.

The company, now officially registered as Bullion Records, Sports, and Industries Limited under the Companies Act 2006, was incorporated as a private limited company in England and Wales on November 20, 2024.

    This certification, confirmed by the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales, enables Bullion Records to legally operate in the UK, marking a pivotal step in its international expansion.

    The company’s CEO, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, expressed his excitement about this achievement, highlighting its potential to bolster its international footprint.

    “This certification by the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales is a major step forward. It marks the beginning of a new phase where we can seamlessly operate in local and international markets,” Ambassador Ajadi stated.

    He revealed that Bullion Records will commence the production of key products, such as Coco Malt Drink; Coco Magic Energy Drink, and lubricant products, by 2025. The innovative business strategy involves an exchange of goods between the UK and Nigeria, ensuring that products manufactured in Nigeria will be sold in the UK and vice versa.

    “Our target is to make products produced in the UK accessible in Nigeria and other parts of the world. Likewise, products made in Nigeria will be available for sale in the UK,” Ambassador Ajadi added.

    He further emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its operations to meet the demands of the global market while supporting local industries. “This recognition is not just a boost for Bullion Records but also the collaboration between local and international markets,” he stated.

    There was a lot of ovations for women as they came to the front burner at the premiere of a single,  released by a Lagos based Singer, Song Writer, Actor and a music producer, Fortune Kingsley popularly known as GyC.

     GyC  was recently signed by the frontline Record Label, Bullion Records and the music premiere took place last Saturday night at Casper & Gambini’s Lounge, located in Ikeja City Mall, Lagos. 

    Speaking on the music, ‘Woman’, GyC said it is a music that appreciates women. “God created men, God created money and God created women to eat men’s money. It shows that one needs to take care of women. Women needs to be taken care of.

    “There is no other inspiration for this song than woman. When you see a  woman, you have seen everything. Woman is everything. If you use woman positively, it pays back positively. And when you use woman negatively, it pays back negatively.

    ‘Woman’ is one of the best songs out  there and it is a master piece. It is not just a song for today, it is something you listen to in 20 years time and you still see the value of what I said. It is never go to stop, it is generational”.

    On what inspired him in singing the song, GyC said with the song , you already know the inspiration is women. When you see women, you know women are everything”. Urging the youths to take care of women.

    “My message to the youths is for them to take care of the women when they see them. Women not necessarily mean your girlfriend. She could be your sister or your mother and you should provide for them. Make sure they are secured”, GyC said.

    Also speaking at the premiere, the Managing Director of the Bullion Records, Mr Femi Elegbede said the single by GyC titled ‘Woman’ is a sing along song.

    “It is a blockbuster. It is something you will like to listen to. The album is coming and the video for the single is undergoing processing. Like in few weeks, the video will be out.

    “The significance of this single to the music industry is that it is coming from GyC . GyC is a very talented artist and he does music effortlessly. It is not hard for him to release any song . He sings on something that is ongoing in the country or that is going on around him and that is why he is our product.

    “I am very optimistic that the youth will benefit from the music.He said in the song, “God made man. Man made money. God made women to chop man’s money. It encourages and teaches youth to respect and take care of women

    The highly anticipated unveiling ceremony of Fortune Kingsley, a.k.a. GyC to the Bullion Records took place on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the South East Asia Restaurant, Ikeja, Lagos.​

    The event unfolded with grandeur and excitement, marking a significant milestone in the Nigerian music industry. Esteemed guests, including international music promoter Alhaji Ademola A.J Otolowo and Nigerian broadcasting luminary Mr. Kenny Ogungbe, CEO of Kennis 104.1 FM and TV, graced the occasion, adding to its prestige and allure.

    The event was further enlivened by captivating performances from renowned hip-hop artiste Eedris AbdulKareem and sensational talent Junior Boy, whose electrifying sets surpassed all expectations, leaving attendees in awe and setting tongues wagging nationwide.

     Speaking at the event, GyC vowed to take music to the next level. The rising star noted that apart from entertaining the people, he wants to use music to impact knowledge.

    He noted that he was always concerned about youths who are roaming the streets. The CEO called on the government to create more vocational centres across the country to engage the youths.

    “You know I have always advocated that our youths must be actively engaged because idle hands are usually devils’ workshops. We need to dissuade our youths from drugs and other bad vices and the only way to achieve this, is for them to be engaged with something tangible with which they can develop themselves,” Ajadi stated.

    The CEO also expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming support from music enthusiasts for GyC. He noted that the support is proof that people believe in the potential of GyC to attain global recognition under the label’s guidance.

    However, GyC was presented with a Range Rover Sport key from Bullion Records by Mr. Kenny Ogungbe, CEO of Kennis 104.1 FM and TV.
