American rapper Cardi B has solidified her place in music history by becoming the first female rapper to debut her first two studio albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Her latest release “Am I The Drama?”, achieved this feat with 200,000 equivalent album units in its opening week.

In an official Instagram post, Billboard announced: “Cardi B scores her second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 as ‘Am I The Drama?’ debuts atop the tally..

” With 200,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S., it marks 2025’s biggest week for an R&B/hip-hop album by a woman.”

This mirrors the success of her 2018 debut album “Invasion of Privacy,” which also launched at No. 1.

The strong debut was driven by heavy streaming numbers and robust physical sales, with multiple CD and vinyl editions contributing to the impressive figures.

“Am I The Drama?” now holds the biggest first-week sales of 2025 for a female hip-hop or R&B artist.

In a unique promotional twist, Cardi B also broke a Guinness World Record by delivering 176 signed copies of her album via drone delivery in just one hour across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Cardi B is set to further build on the album’s momentum with a nationwide arena tour starting in February 2026.

The tour will support her latest release and give fans a chance to experience her high-energy performances live.

Renowned American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, popularly known as Cardi B, has achieved a new milestone with the release of her latest album, Am I The Drama?

The rapper set a Guinness World Record for the most drone deliveries in one hour, in collaboration with Walmart, by delivering copies of the album directly to fans’ doorsteps.

Speaking on the innovative rollout, Cardi B said, “I always want my fans to feel like they’re part of my journey. This album is special, and delivering it to them in such an innovative way makes the experience even more personal.”

Since its release, the album has generated widespread excitement online, with fans praising the bold and creative launch.

“Am I the Drama?” was released on September 19, 2025, marking a significant comeback seven years after her debut album “Invasion of Privacy.”

The album features 23 tracks, including her previous singles “WAP” and “Up”, as well as collaborations with notable artists like Janet Jackson, Kehlani, and Lizzo.

Industry observers note that the drone-powered album release may set a precedent for future music launches. As one entertainment analyst put it:

“Cardi B is redefining the fan experience. By merging technology, spectacle, and music, she’s not just dropping an album, she’s creating cultural moments.”

Recall that she filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024 and gave birth to her third child, a daughter named Blossom, on September 7, 2024.

She has also confirmed her relationship with NFL player Stefon Diggs and announced her fourth pregnancy.

Online users and fans are happy to hear that Cardi B has finally confirmed that she is expecting a baby number 4 with her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.

Recently a viral photo of Cardi B went viral and caught the attention from online users. Many speculated that the mother of three might just be expecting her fourth child after she was spotted waddling out of the courtroom amid her assault case.

During her appearance on CBS Mornings, Cardi told Gayle King “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” She later noted that she’s due ahead of her Little Miss Drama tour in February.

She said: I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby. I’m happy I feel like I’m in a good space.”

Cardi B is in a relationship with popular rapper Offset, with whom she has three children.

American rapper Cardi B has been cleared of assault charges in a $24 million civil lawsuit filed by security guard Emani Ellis.

The lawsuit stemmed from a 2018 incident outside a doctor’s office in Beverly Hills, where Ellis claimed Cardi B attacked her with fingernails and spat on her.

However, the jury deliberated for less than an hour and found Cardi B not liable for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, and false imprisonment.

During the trial, Cardi B denied the allegations, stating that Ellis followed her, filmed her on her phone and refused to give her personal space.

Cardi B was four months pregnant at the time of the incident and was trying to keep her pregnancy private, which led the medical office to close for the day.

After the verdict, Cardi B expressed relief and emphasised that she works hard for her money and won’t settle for frivolous lawsuits.

She also urged her fans to respect Ellis’ privacy.

Following the verdict, Cardi B spoke to reporters, saying, “I work all day and I work hard for my money, for my kids, for the people that I take care of. So don’t you ever think that you’re going to sue me, and I’m just going to settle.”

In a separate incident after the trial, Cardi B confronted a reporter who asked questions about her personal life, including her pregnancy and potential paternity issues with children.

“Cardi, insiders are claiming that Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the 4th time. Do you foresee any paternity issues with Stefon Diggs?”, the reporter questioned.

Cardi B sharply responded by throwing a pen at the reporter, demanding respect and challenging the reporter’s line of questioning.

“Stop disrespecting me. Don’t disrespect me,” she said.

She went on to challenge the reporter directly: “Do you see women asking those types of questions to me? Why do you feel, as a man, that you get to ask me those kinds of questions? Act like you have some manners. And your mama taught you to respect women.”

The confrontation drew mixed reactions, with some praising Cardi B for standing up for herself and others criticising her for resorting to a physical gesture after being cleared of assault allegations.

American rapper Cardi B has opened up about her faith, proudly declaring herself a “God-fearing woman.”

The revelation came in response to  followers’ question on X, where they asked if she considered herself perfect.

The controversy stems from a recent TikTok live session, where Cardi B discussed how some men prefer dating women who are less confident, referring to them as “a 6” due to their perceived submissiveness.

American rapper Cardi B has vowed to take legal action after receiving an unwarranted visit from Child Protective Services (CPS) due to an anonymous prank call.

Cardi B shared her frustration and concern during an Instagram Live session on October 22, 2024.

The call alleged her children were being abused and beaten, prompting a late-night visit to her home from CPS and law enforcement.

Cardi B condemned the prank as irresponsible and disturbing, particularly given her status as a minority in her neighborhood.

She emphasised the seriousness of involving her children and threatened to sue both CPS and the individual responsible for the call.

The rapper vowed to hire a top private investigator to identify the prankster, stressing that her children’s well-being and her motherhood will not be compromised.

She said: “To do a prank call with CPS to come to my gated mansion at 11pm while my children are sleeping because of an anonymous call that my kids have been getting abused and beaten. Are you fucking dumb?”

The mother-of-three condemned the prank as not only irresponsible but also deeply concerning.

She said: “This is where the pranks start going too far; and you assholes think this is funny and it’s not funny. First of all, I’m the only coloured or Latin person in my neighbourhood completely and for people to pop into my house with cops and child protective services because someone made an anonymous call involving my children?

“I promise you this: I’m going to sue child protective services and I’m also going to sue the person who made this call and as soon as I wake up in the morning, I’m going to the bottom of this.

“I’m going to hire the best private investigator in the whole country because y’all take joking and shit a little too far. Don’t ever play with my kids or my motherhood or my ex-husband’s fatherhood. We don’t play that shit, my kids live great and have never been touched or hit. No matter how annoying they are, I never hit my kids”.
