    Carter Efe opened fake account to troll Davido – Young Duu alleges

    Young Duu, a former signee of singer Portable, has claimed that comedian Carter Efe opened a fake social media account in his name to drag Davido.

    Recall that Young Duu went into alliance with Carter Efe after his fallout with Portable last year.

    The duo released a song titled ‘Oyinmo’ in November to solidify their partnership.

    However, their relationship hit the rocks over the sharing formula of royalties from the song as Young Duu accused Cater Efe of shortchanging him.

    In a recent video message shared via his Instagram account, he accused the skit maker of creating a fake social media account in his name to troll Davido.

    Young Duu said: “Cater Efe, God will punish you. You are using a Twitter account in my name to troll Davido. He will think I am the one attacking him. It’s unfair. You are fake.”

    Popular skit-maker, Carter Efe, has condemned the practice of filming acts of generosity while opening up on how ace rapper, Zlatan Ibile used to quietly help him before he hit stardom.   

    He stated that content creators who capture moments of them helping the needy are only monetising suffering.

    He said Zlatan at the time gave him money and clothes when he was struggling and nobody knew about it because he did not record a video to announce his kind deed.

    The online comedian also revealed that celebrity blogger, Tunde Ednut once gave him N1million and warned him against broadcasting it on social media or telling anybody.

    According to Carter Efe, he learnt valuable lessons from those experiences and that is why whenever he wants to help anybody, he does not announce it to the public.

    He said: “These content creators who make videos of people they’re helping are just making money off the sufferings of these helpless people. They’re not genuine. When I was nothing, Zlatan used to give me clothes and money. In fact, he gave me everything. He didn’t do a video so the world could see what he was doing.

    “Tunde Ednut once gave me 1 million naira and warned me not to tell anybody. These things taught me a lot. This is why when I help anybody, I don’t make noise or say anything about it.”

    Skit maker and singer, Carter Efe, has denied ripping Portable’s former signee, Young Duu off their hit track ‘Oyinmo’.

    According to him, he invested about N15 million to make his song “Oyinmo,” with singer Young Duu, a success

    Young Duu had accused Carter Efe of ripping him off and taking advantage of his situation after he single handedly performed ‘Oyinmo’ song.

    Carter Efe claimed in a recent episode of Spill With Phyna that he poured N15 million into making the project a success.

    He went on to say that he kept 60% of the song’s proceeds for himself, saving 30% for Young Duu and 10% for the producer.

    “I spent close to N15 million on that project, I got 6o% form the project, gave 30% to young duu then 10% to the producer,” he said.

    Skit creator and singer, Carter Efe, has faced criticism following his recent remarks regarding his colleague, Sydney Talker.

    Speaking at Sydney Talker’s birthday celebration, Carter Efe made controversial statements about the birthday boy, igniting a wave of responses on social media.

    During his speech, Carter Efe revealed that despite their 12-year acquaintance, he had never witnessed Sydney with a woman.

    He claimed that Sydney Talker has a preference for dark-skinned boys like himself and others.

    He said: “To be honest, I want to say something. I have known this man for more than 12 years, I never seen am with a woman once. But he likes dark-skinned boys, like me and others.”

    Carter’s comment didn’t sit well with many as they called him out over insensitivity while others saw it as a joke.

    One loveliness wrote: “When they start calling him g@y know that you’re the source. This is a very expensive joke.”

    How fatherhood upgraded my craft – Carter Efe

    Skitmaker and singer, Efe Oderhohwo, popularly known as Carter Efe, shared that since becoming a father, there are certain activities he refrains from.

    In an interview with Punch, the comedian said that fatherhood has elevated his craft and led him to cease dancing online while clad only in underwear.

    He said: “I do things differently now because I am a dad. There are some things I did before that I don’t do again, such as posting videos of myself online dancing and wearing only boxers. It (fatherhood) has made me upgrade my craft. I also can’t keep doing the same things because people get tired with time.”

    He also stated that he had no plans to separate his comedy from music.

    He said: “Music is a gift from God to me. When I came out with the ‘states and capital’ song, it went viral beyond my expectations. I know it is a funny song but then, I am a comedian. I usually obey my instincts. And, when I feel like it, I call another artist. Music and comedy are not distinct for me, and I won’t be separating them.”

    Speaking on why he likes Lagos, the Delta-born content creator said that everyone in Lagos is determined and hardly jokes with their business.

    He said: “Everyone in Lagos is a ‘hustler’. Everyone is determined and doesn’t joke with their business. I love Lagos because it is a place where one can easily make it. People don’t sleep in Lagos. Even me, I barely sleep at night.”

    On what he looks out for in a partner when going into a relationship, he said: “I look out for character and her relationship with God before getting into a relationship. However, I am currently in one.”

    Controversial celebrity critic, Daniel Regha has said that Comedian Carter Efe’s latest song is more suitable for a younger audience, likening it to something that would resonate with kindergarten classes.

    Daniel expressed his disapproval of Carter Efe’s song on Twitter, asserting that although it may sound pleasant, he considers it lacking in authenticity as music.

    He suggested that the song could find a fitting audience in kindergartens and nurseries due to its educational content about Nigeria’s states and capitals.

    He stated: “Carter Efe’s “Babypiano” sounds good; that’s not real music, but it will be a great song for creche, plus kindergarten students who wish to learn about Nigeria States & Capital. He should simply record on CDs & distribute to schools, or team up with Alaba music marketers. No shades.”

    Popular skit maker and singer, Oderhwo Joseph Efe, popularly known as Carter Efe, has revealed how creativity led to his passion for sewing before eventually hitting stardom.

    According to the ‘Machala’ crooner, comedy was inborn.

    He said he loved art right from childhood which made him learn tailoring at some point.

    Featuring recently on Hip TV programme, trending, hosted by reality star, KimOprah, Carter Efe said: “I have been funny right from birth. I’ve been doing stand-up comedy since I was in school. During break time, I would just stand in front of the class and start making people laugh.

    I was a London tailor, ‘Obioma’, before I ventured into skit making. I love art. For example, I edit my skits by myself. I told my dad one day that I wanted to learn tailoring. He said what of my education and I insisted that I wanted to learn tailoring because I love creativity. I didn’t even spend up to six months before learning how to sew and create beautiful embroidery patterns.

    “I was a London tailor, ‘Obioma’, before I ventured into skit making. I love art. For example, I edit my skits by myself. I told my dad one day that I wanted to learn tailoring. He said what of my education and I insisted that I want to learn tailoring because I love creativity. I didn’t even spend up to six months before learning how to sew.

    “When I was learning tailoring, sometimes I would lie to my boss that I was sick and go to shoot a skit. Then I will come back in the afternoon. He still punished me. He would tell me to kneel. I would kneel till the end of the day.

    “Until one day, Broda Shaggi posted a challenge on Instagram: he said everybody should vibe to a song. Back then I was in Delta State. I said let me just vibe to it and I vibed to the song then I came out first. I won PS5.

    “Shaggi said I should come to Lagos to receive my prize. When I collected the PS5, I sold it for about N300,000. Then I decided to stay back in Lagos. I was using the N300,000 for transport fares to go to locations to shoot my skit. I was staying with one of my friends then.”

    Blackmailers threatening to release my s3x tape, skitmaker Carter Efe alleges

    Skitmaker Oderhwo Joseph Efe aka Carter Efe has alerted the public of a possible private tape leak by an alleged blackmailer.

    He said the blackmailer was threatening to leak his bedroom video.

    The ‘Machala’ crooner said he decided to notify the public before his private video was released. 

    On his X handle, Cater Efe wrote: “I am here to publicly announce that I am being blackmailed. And that my sextape will be released soon.

    “I am just here to let everyone know before it’s out.”

    This is happening in the wake of the recent leaked tapes of celebrities.

    The Nation reported actress Moyo Lawal made headlines recently after her private video surfaced on the internet.

    Famous skit maker Oderhwo Joseph Efe aka Carter Efe has slammed critics who tagged his skits boring and unfunny.

    He said contrary to their opinions, he is the funniest comedian in Nigeria and the world at large.

    The ‘Machala’ crooner stated this as a guest on Cool FM Nigeria’s Big Friday Show hosted by reality star, Tacha.

    He said: “I see comments on social media saying my skits are not funny. But I can tell you I am the most funniest comedian on earth. I’m funnier than whoever you call. There’s nobody you want to call that is funnier than me.

    “Very soon my critics will start believing me. Now I do see positive comments on my videos. Some of the commentators said I’m becoming one of the best skit makers in Nigeria.

    “But some of the critics don just like me. They don’t even watch my skits, they just conclude that I’m not funny”.

    Efe also claimed that he makes $20,000 per video from Facebook and N5 million per advert.
