    S3x addiction led to the end of my relationship, says Cassper Nyovest

    South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest, opened up about how his sex addiction led to the breakdown of his relationship with his baby mama, Thobeka Majozi.

    The rapper, who welcomed a son with Majozi in September 2020, confirmed in a recent episode of Mpoomy Ledwaba’s podcast that they are no longer together.

    He admitted “hurting” his baby mama in the course of their relationship.

    He, however, disclosed that he has turned a new leaf and is now a born-again Christian.

    The rapper said: “I created a serious mess. I hurt my baby mama so much. We broke up, and I have been single for two years.

    “I was addicted to s3x and sexual immorality in general. I had such a big ego, and I thought I was better than everyone else. I was humble in the sense that I was a good person, and I didn’t offend anyone. I was headed straight for hell if I didn’t have that wake-up.”

    South African hip-hop artiste, Cassper Nyovest has stated categorically that South Africa’s Amapiano has overtaken Nigeria’s afrobeats as “the fastest growing genre in the world.”

    The rapper in a recent interview with Beats N Sounds, said he was proud that there is finally a genre representing South Africa in the international stage.

    Nyovest said: “Amapiano is taking over the music industry in the world. It is now the most popular and fastest growing genre.

    “It is just great for me that we finally have a sound that is representing South Africa. Because afrobeats represented Nigeria mostly. So, the fact that we have a sound that is from South Africa and it is representing where we are from, is a beautiful thing.”

    He, however, said he has no intention of jumping on the Amapiano trend.
