Box-2-Box FC of Lagos has yet again clinched the Legend Cup for the second successive time following a 2-0 spanking of Charlesan FC recently in the grand finale of the tournament held at the Legacy Pitch of National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
In an energy sapping encounter between the two gladiators, it was the former Nigeria Junior International Jubril Azeez that gave Box-2-Boxthe lead before Charlesan conceded an own goal following a goal mouth melee thereafter.

Famous for producing a crop of talented youngsters including newly discovered Super Eagles’ striker, Tolu Arokodare who plies his trade with Genk in the Belgium, Box-2-Box according to one of its principal officials, Igabayilola Ariyo, would continue to work hard in order to maintain its tradition of producing talented players.

“We are really delighted with this victory, and we are really proud of young lads despite the fact that the majority of our players had travelled to Europe for greener pastures,” Ariyo who manages the team along with Shira Akeem Yusuf, said. “We have a new set of players and they are greatly continuing on the strong pedestal of our past players.
“ This is really giving us a lot of joy and we believe the best is even yet to come because we are getting better, and better as a team.”
