I regret my marriage to Blossom Chukwujekwu

Five years after being separated Maureen Esisi has said she regrets her marriage to Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu.

In a recent podcast Maureen told a former housemate of Big Brother Naija reality TV show, Miracle OP that she regretted her four year long marriage saying the years were wasted years of her life.

“Of course I regret the marriage. It was wasted years. Of course, I regretted the marriage. Since we went our separate ways, I haven’t bumped into him, I don’t know what he looks like, I don’t know what he smells like, I don’t want to talk about him. We have both moved on and he’s married now.”

Maureen also went on to say that regardless of all that has happened, she’s not going to stop saying that the actor is a good person.

“Regardless of all that has happened, I keep defending him and why I did that is that I am never going to stop saying that he is a good person.

She also noted that she wonders why people said Blossom dodged the bullet when he walked out of the marriage because in actual fact, she was the one that dodged the bullet.

Marriage is a scam – Actor Chukwujekwu’s ex-wife tells young ladies

Maureen Esisi, the former spouse of actor Blossom Chukwujekwu, has sent a cautionary message to aspiring young husbands and wives, advising them against rushing into marriage.

The brand influencer via her Snapchat account asserted that marriage is a scam.

She added that if man and a woman must get married, they must have sex before walking down the aisle.

Esisi said people should prioritise morality over religion, but still engage in sexual relations with their partner while still courting.

She said couples should learn to save money for a rainy day, saying that it is in a man’s interest not to marry a liability for the sake of love.

Maureen wrote: “There is no Gold medal for the one who marries the earliest.. wait for your time and for financial stability. Have a small memorable wedding, rather spend that bulk money on a Fantastic Honeymoon And the first years in marriage (they are the hardest years) cos no one cares after your wedding day.

“Report your partner to their Family members(if you must) and not yours, you would eventually forgive them, your family member will not. keep your Family secrets to yourself and with God…. Friends won’t help you – if he / she hits you before marriage, they will hit you after marriage.

“This is for those of you looking for a life partner – Choose good genuine character over religion if you doubt this, ask people who married their spouses solely cos they are Pastors. Don’t overlook bad behavior in hopes that they will eventually change or you would change them.

“Have sxx with your Partner before walking down that Aisle cos trust me, a flaw is this is gigantic enough to make you walk back up that Aisle. Understand each other’s love language cos it would highly improve communication( communication is vital for a lasting Union; the till old age kind of union(Be you a house wife or a Working One, LEARN TO SAVE for a Rainy Day…

“Above all said, don’t get married, it’s a scam”
