The maiden edition of the Crave Fest Junk Food Festival is set to hold on December 14, 2024, at City Park, Wuse 2, Abuja.
According to the organisers, the event begins at noon and promises a day filled with indulgent treats, live music, games, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
It was further disclosed that Crave Fest traces its origins to a passion for homemade ice cream shared by a mother-and-son duo, Falnyi Tehilah Shadrach and Destiny Praise, who turned their love for ice cream into Eleeshas Ice Cream.

Speaking about the festival, Falnyi said that the success of Eleeshas inspired the idea of a pop-up event to showcase exclusive ice cream flavours.
“But the idea evolved, and soon Crave Fest was born—a larger vision that would bring together diverse vendors in a celebration of food, community, and culture. Crave Fest will feature the best of Abuja’s vibrant food scene with an exciting mix of vendors and exclusive treats, plus a lineup of entertainment to keep guests engaged all day.
“From games and live music to vibrant festival vibes, this event aims to create unforgettable memories and celebrate the creativity, passion, and diversity within Nigeria’s food culture. Attendees can look forward to an eclectic selection of junk food options, music, fun activities, and special treats from unique vendors,” she said.
She further noted that Crave Fest provides an opportunity for food lovers and lifestyle enthusiasts to indulge, explore new flavours, and connect with fellow enthusiasts in a vibrant, family-friendly setting.
