    Singer Dammy Krane replies Davido over accomodation assistance claim

    Popular Afrobeats musician, Dammy Krane has fired superstar singer, Davido over what he described as his childish and weak response on X app.

    This is coming after Davido called out Dammy Krane for forgetting the days he housed him in his Atlanta house.

    However, Dammy Krane denied the claim, stating he only lived with Davido after he convinced him to because of a Sony deal he was about to sign.

    In his words: “See as you wan disgrace yourself na now you go really get that izzue.”

    “1: ‘Izzue is your song’, you featured me bro & it was released on your YouTube & Digital platforms (you chop all the money alone) Thank God everything is Online (receipts dey).”

    “2: You convinced me to come stay in your house because Sony music guys in Atlanta reached out to you that they want to sign me (that’s wen We did an affiliation with my label & DMW)because You wan chop out of my Sony music deal, Na you still scatter the deal cos d deal go help me”.

    “So because your friend gifted you , so he shouldn’t pay for the goods he took from your shop?” That Got me like.David-owe warn yourself owe.”

    Singer Dammy Krane speaks on former signees Mr.Eazi, Idowest

    Popular singer Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel aka Dammy Krane has opened on the exit of former signees, Mr. Eazi and Idowest from his record label.

    He shared his perspective on their career trajectories and emphasised that he did not bully them for their choices.

    The singer took to his X platform to address the situation by stating Mr. Eazi and Idowest left the record label after achieving significant success in their careers under his supervision.

    Dammy Krane pointed out that Idowest departed his record label to join forces with Davido after gaining recognition during his time with Dammy Krane’s label.

    Mr Eazi moved on to the Starboy record label while Dammy Krane and Wizkid were embroiled in a song theft controversy.

    However, Dammy Krane made it clear that he never resorted to bullying or negative actions in response to their decisions.

    He expressed his belief that his intention had always been to support and help them become independent artists.

    In Dammy Krane’s words: “Mr Eazi & Idowest both left my Record label when they blew up, Mr Eazi went to Starboy when me & Wiz had the whole song theft issue while Idowest went to Davido, that one no mean say make I start to drag them or bully them cos the motive was to help them become a Man of their own.”

    “Ps: When you wanna help someone , Never do it for a payback , do your best & leave it to God ( the blessing is limitless,” he added.

    Singer Dammy Krane slams Pauloo over comment on MohBad

    Singer Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel aka Dammy Krane has criticised the alleged double standard by show promoter, Pauloo Okoye over the complaints of late singer MohBad before he finally passed on.

    Pauloo Okoye, while mourning the deceased, opened up on his last conversation with him, revealing how Mohbad had expressed deep concerns about his safety.

    According to Pauloo, MohBad confided that threats were looming over his life, which left him in a state of panic and apprehension.

    Reacting to it, Dammy Krane described his statement as medicine after death, questioning what help he rendered to the deceased about his fears.

    He noted how Pauloo has the number of Naira Marley and Olamide, yet didn’t take action against them.

    Krane cautioned him not to ask people how they are when they can’t help.

    “Medicine after Death. Mohbad complained to una, what did y’all do about it? And una get Naira Marley number including Olamide. Una been think say na drugs?

    “Ps: Don’t ask people “How are you? I’d you can’t help when they respond ”I’m not fine,” he tweeted.

    Reacting to the fraud charges labeled against her son, mother of Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane, Elizabeth Adeola Oshodi, is claiming that her son is innocent of all charges.

    Explaining the incident that led to his arrest, his mother claimed that the singer’s flight ticket and hotel bookings were fraudulently purchased by a show promoter before he got arrested while trying to board the flight from Maimi to Washington.

    “As an artiste, promoters book your hotel stays and often buy your destination tickets. It’s never once crossed our hearts as a performing entertainment family, to have to verify that the sources of bookings are legitimate,” she wrote on Facebook.

    Explaining further, she said that they’ve been in the industry for almost 15 years. “Then came the unfortunate past Friday, when Dammy Krane got arrested trying to board a flight from Maimi to Washington: Maryland. His ticket and hotel bookings were fraudulently purchased by the next show promoter (s). And because of Dammy Krane’s fame, all accusatory hell, broke loose,” Oshodi added.

    She further said that the singer will clear his name in court and advised all artistes to purchase their ticket by themselves to avoid a similar incident.

    Meanwhile, OAP Daddy Freeze has reacted to the singer’s arrest in the US, describing him as a good person.

    “This gentleman is a good person. One of the most respectful young people I know. One mistake doesn’t define him,” Freeze wrote.

    Last Friday, Dammy Krane was arrested for allegedly using a stolen credit card to book a private jet in Miami, United States, US.

    The charge sheet shows that Dammy Krane was arrested for Grand theft 3rd degree/armed/conspiracy, credit card/forgery/intent to defraud among other charges.

    Nigerian singer, Oyindamola Emmanuel, also known as Dammy Krane, has been reportedly arrested in Miami, United States for credit card fraud.

    Reports said the singer who is currently based in the U.S, was arrested on Friday.

    He is currently behind bars pending when he fulfills the bail requirements.

    The singer was arrested for card fraud, identity fraud (named as Johnson Hunga) and theft (armed and conspiracy).

    Usual Suspekt is set to present the crème dela crème of Nigerian musicians at it’s The Amin concert scheduled to hold in Lagos on February 18 at Ultima Studios, Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1.

    The show will feature prominent artistes such as 2 Baba, Davido, Olamide, Mr Eazi, Timaya, Dammy Krane and others. And to give the event a tinge of variance, legendary fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, KWAM 1, will also be on ground to throw some Fuji vibes into the mix.

    The concert will also mark the launch of Dammy Krane’s ‘ The Amin Foundation’.

    Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane, has said that collaborative efforts should be expected from his record label, Usual Suspect and DMW, owned by Davido.
    News that Davido and Dammy Krane have signed a joint deal had generated a lot of buzz in recent times.
    The artiste, who is presently doing well with is career revealed to Hiptv, during a brief chat that the idea and name of his new record label was given by his mentor, Tubaba.
    “Fans should expect joint venture from DMW and Usual Suspect artistes,” stated Dammy Krane.
    Born in 1992 in Lagos, Nigeria, Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, aka Dammy Krane, in January 2012, signed a record deal with Hypertek Records.
    Since then, Krane has received numerous nominations including The Next Rated, at the Headies. He has also won The Headies’ Rookie of the Year award in 2012.

    The scuffle between Ayodeji Balogun (aka WizKid) and Dammy Krane, as popularly called by his fans, got deeper on Thursday night as Wizkid reportedly threw a glass cup on Krane’s face at Quilox Club.

    Earlier on Thursday, Krane had apologised to his fans on twitter concerning his accusations of Wizkid over stealing songs and lyrics belonging to him.

    “Park, reverse baby pull over, was mine. Baba nla melodies both chorus and verses were recorded in his Wizkid’s house by me in he’s studio,” Krane said on his twitter handle.

    However, it was gathered that Obafemi Martins, former Super Eagles Striker, was hosting a party at Quilox Club and both singers were present.

    Although, both singers are yet to speak on the latest development, there were claims on Social media that Krane left the club soaked in blood.

    HEADLINE artistes, Naeto C and Mr. Raw, have bowed out of the Star Music Trek concert, after seven weeks of pulsating performances across the country.

    The concert, which began on Saturday, May 10, saw fans trooping through the gates of Godwin Achebe Stadium, Onitsha as early as 12pm.

    Naeto C’s energetic performance delivered with some of his greatest hits, I Gentle 10/10, Tony Montana, Kini Big Deal provided a perfect finishing to his final performance on the Trek this year.

    At a brief stopover at Radio Sapiente Onitsha earlier on in the day, the popular rapper had promised to ‘shut down the city’, which he did to an appreciative ovation from the audience.

    Wearing matching white outfits, the duo of Harrysong and KCee threw the audience into frenzy as they performed their hit songs: Beta Pickin, Bulienu Jesus, Pull Over and Akuna Matata, among others. The Limpopo King, Kcee, as usual, rewarded his fans on stage after an extremely energetic mini dance competition produced some skillful and enthusiastic winners.

    Phyno continued his dominance as the King of the East, while consolidating on his new album, No Guts No Glory. The rapper wrapped up the night with a stunning finale.

    Introducing himself with his hit maker, One Love, Mr. Raw made sure he went the extra mile to thrill his audience for his last act on the Trek stage this year.

    Also, some stylish dancers unveiled the Black Diamond, Wande Coal, on stage; and with his signature fluid dance steps, he got guests dancing to his songs.

    There were guest appearances from Dammy Krane, Efa and Pucado.  The Trek moves to Benin for the 8th stage today at Sam Ogbemudia Stadium.
