Pastor Daniel Olawande, popularly known as P. Daniel of The Envoys Youth Church, Redeemed Christian Church of God, has emphasised that true and genuine transformation can only be found in the presence of God.
Speaking during his sermon at the Elevation Conference organized by the Lagos West Baptist Conference, themed “In His Presence”, on Friday, November 22, at First Baptist Church, Ikeja, Pastor Olawande drew insights from Psalm 16:11.
Addressing the youth, he highlighted that staying in God’s presence eliminates distractions and affirmed that it is the ultimate place to live a fulfilling life.
“I urge you to stay in God’s presence, remain a burning fire, when you stay in God’s presence you will burn, and by so doing kill distractions.
“Spending time in prayers, reading the Word, transformation is inevitable, the presence of God is the best place to be.” He said.

This years Elevation conference witnessed manifestation of God’s power through songs ministrations, deliverance and breakthrough.
Awards of selflessness and commitment were also given to different associations and individuals who performed exceptionally during the course of the year, amongst them was the Chosen Generation Baptist Association, who were awarded as the “Outstanding Association” for the year.
President of The Chosen Generation Baptist Association, Oresanya Babatunde was also awarded with the “Outstanding Youth Leadership Meritorious Award” for his service and dedication to the association and conference at large.
Present at the conference was gospel minister, Ada Ehi, minister Temitope Adegbosin and Dr. Dns. Oluwakemi Akintoyese amongst others.
