Rising Nollywood actor and creative force David Eyo, popularly known as TDE or Superstar, has been crowned Caballero Universal Nigeria 2025 following his Top 6 placement at the Mister of Nigeria 2025 competition held at the MUSON Centre in Lagos on May 11th.
Representing Lagos, David stood out with his commanding presence, eloquence, and effortless charisma. Now, he will carry the Nigerian flag to Colombia later this year, where he will compete for the Caballero Universal international title, a prestigious global platform that celebrates intellect, culture, and modern masculinity.
Born and raised in Cross River State, David hails from Creek Town in Odukpani Local Government Area. The 26-year-old holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Media Studies from the University of Calabar and is quickly making a name for himself in Nollywood with his sharp talent and on-screen magnetism.
Beyond his acting credentials, David has become known for his versatility and charm, both on set and in front of live audiences. His transition into the pageant world was seamless, earning him not just a Top 6 finish but one of the coveted international titles handed out during the night.
Misters of Nigeria, now recognised as Nigeria’s premier male pageant competition, featured 21 contestants from across the country vying for national titles and international representation.
