    In a statement signed by his manager, Ayodele Odunsi (MrGas), Dice Ailes announced Towa with a captivating artwork on X, captioned “UI love story.”

    The artwork, designed in the style of a University of Ibadan student ID card, immediately caught fans’ attention.

    However, its deeper significance becomes clear upon listening to the track, reinforcing the heartfelt narrative woven into the lyrics.

    Currently trending in Nigeria, ‘Towa’ explores a ‘university love story’, blending smooth melodies, rhythmic Afrobeat grooves, and heartfelt lyrics.

    Dice Ailes embraces vulnerability in this sincere ode to unwavering love, praising a partner who stands by him through thick and thin.     Singer Dice Ailes claims influence on new generation of afrobeats

    Singer Dice Ailes has proclaimed his influence on the new generation of Afrobeats artists, in both sound and fashion.

    The singer, best known for his hit singles “Otedola” and “Ella,” made this assertion while discussing his latest music video “Dice Baba,” which was released on June 28.

    Ailes, who sees himself as one of the greatest of all time (GOATs) in the music industry, used the video to symbolize his impact on the Afrobeats genre.

    “Symbolise my influence on the new generation of Afrobeats artists, both in sound and fashion. I see myself as one of the ‘GOATS’ in the game,” he said

    Dice Ailes calls out Sony music over alleged ‘restrictions’ of songs

    Singer Shasha Damilola Alesh, popularly known as Dice Ailes, has called out Sony Music for alleged restriction of his music and improper promotion.

    He explained that he had a longstanding business relationship with Sony Music but both parties mutually agreed to terminate the contract when progress stagnated.

    However, he alleged that the record label was frustrating the circulation of his music.

    He said: “I have been in business with Sony Music for years and sometime last year, we mutually agreed to terminate the contract because progress was stagnated and also we didn’t get the kind of investments we were expecting.

    “Unfortunately, we still have some restrictions from that deal that are affecting the flow of things, our marking processes, and investments for my company. I was just really tired.

    “The fans have been clamoring for new music from me for so long. And 2024 is just so important to me, for the fans to get the best of me. So out of frustration, I had to go on social media to call out Sony Music.”
