Edem Favour, from Surulere Girls Senior Secondary School in Lagos Education District IV, has won the grand prize of N1 million at TCK Zone District Digital Challenge, a competition to foster digital literacy in public secondary schools in Lagos State,.
The second place prize of N500,000 went to Olawale Alex, from Mafoluku Senior Grammar School in Lagos Education District VI, while the third place prize of N300,000 was won by Bennybonny Prosper, from Oregun Senior High School, also in Lagos Education District VI.
Top Performing Teacher award of N200,000 was clinched by Agoro Olamipo.

The completion was organised by Creative Kids Zone Initiative (TCK Zone), a non-profit organisation founded by Oluwadamilola Ojo, empowering pupils with digital skills.
TCK Zone’s flagship, Digital Skills Fellowship for Young Students, provides accessible and affordable digital skills for 500,000 young pupils in Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya.
Four hundred and ninety-one public schools in Lagos State’s six educational districts participated in the challenge.
They went through digital skill curriculum for four weeks.
Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Jamiu Alli-Balogun, said ‘’this initiative has set a benchmark for digital education.’’
