    I’m giving up on bread, red meat to shrink fibroid, says Ini Dima-Okojie

    Actress Ini Dima-Okojie has shared her decision to take a holistic approach to managing her fibroids, which have returned three years after she underwent surgery.

    The actress, who is open about her journey with fibroids, announced that she is making significant dietary changes to help shrink the fibroids naturally.

    Dima-Okojie revealed that she has cut out several foods from her diet, including red meat, white carbohydrates, dairy products, refined sugar, processed foods, carbonated drinks, pasta, and caffeine.

    She explained that these foods are high in estrogen, which can promote the growth of fibroids.

    By eliminating these items from her diet, the actress aims to reduce the size of her fibroids and manage her symptoms without the need for additional surgery.

    In a recent TikTok video: “So I’m on a holistic journey to shrink my fibroids, which means I have to go on a special fibroid diet and these are some of the things I had to give up. Red meat, means lamb, cow, ram, goat, and all that goat meat, sausages, processed meat, and any form of red meat. White carbs so white pasta noodles, rice, how I love rice and bread.

    “Dairy, so cheese, milk, refined sugar like cookies, cakes, condiments, and processed food in general. Also, carbonated drinks and caffeine. Honorary mention, sodium and anything high in salt. So I am avoiding these things because they are high in estrogen and these things can make the fibroids grow.”

    This development comes after Dima-Okojie announced in July that her fibroids had returned, a setback that she described as emotionally challenging.
