    Durella sets for Europe, UK tours

    Nigerian music star, Oluwadamilare Okulaja, aka Durella is set to embark on a tour of Europe and the United Kingdom (UK).

    The acclaimed King of the Zanga, who recently performed at D’banj’s 20th anniversary in the music industry, is expected to storm major cities in Europe and the UK for his much anticipated music tour this year.

    Durella said the tour is long overdue, as he finally succumbed to pressure from his fans around the globe to embark on the musical tour.

    “For some years now, my fans all over the world have been pressuring me to hit their respective cities, and after painstaking consideration, my team and I have decided to respond with the tour, starting from the UK and Europe. This promises to showcase the best of Durella,” he said.

    Durella became popular for his hit singles that include “Enu Ose”, “Shayo”, “Wizkolo Wiska”, “Club Rock” and “GaGa” featuring Wizkid.

    He appeared on songs with stars such as Dbanj, Femi Kuti, Duncan Mighty, Terry G, Olamide, and Dammy Krane, and performed live with Wyclef Jean in South Africa.

    In 2008 Durella was awarded the “MTV Base Advance Warning Artist” of the year.

    Durella begs ex-record label chief for withheld royalties

    Nigerian singer Oluwadamilare Okulaja aka Durella is currently pleading with the boss of TC Records over alleged withheld royalties.

     Durella recently made an appeal to the record label executive, who was simply identified as Mr D on his social media page.

     The ‘Shayo’ singer claimed that Mr D withheld royalties from his songs for over a decade and has refused to remunerate or share proceeds from the use of his songs under the copyright laws.

     In his words, “Please I need this man to do the same video clip for me. This is exactly what I am going through from TC RECORDS MR D. He has been in charge of all the money I made from all the streaming platforms since over 14 years ago. Please my fans, I need your help… Help me report my fans.”
