    Eagle 102.5 FM, the award winning and beloved radio station, recently concluded its second anniversary celebration in a grand style, leaving its listeners buzzing with excitement.

    The celebration, which spanned over two weeks, was a testament to Eagle FM’s commitment to not just entertaining, but also connecting with its audience on a deeper level.

    From special broadcasts featuring interviews with listeners and industry experts, to live music performances by Fuji maestro Alhaji Taye Currency to mention a few, the anniversary celebration was indeed a testament to two years of redefining broadcasting in Ogun State.

    Highlight of the celebration was a charity drive, which was aimed at supporting underprivileged communities in the station’s broadcast area.

    Listeners participated by donating funds and essential items, demonstrating the impact Eagle FM has beyond the airwaves. The celebration began on April 1 with a feeding programme and educational scholarship opportunities aimed at supporting widows and students.

    Day-Two of Eagle 102.5 FM’s second anniversary celebration brought an electrifying outdoor broadcast experience to Akarigbo market in Sagamu, as the station ventured to engage with its audience in a vibrant celebration of two years of exceptional broadcasting. The outdoor broadcast was characterised by lively interactions, pulsating music and an atmosphere brimming with enthusiasm, thereby bringing the excitement of live radio to the streets. The station reaffirmed its strong connection with its audience and underscored its commitment to delivering quality broadcasting.

    Adding a touch of sportsmanship, Eagle 102.5 FM engaged in a spirited novelty match against Super FM at Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode. The one-nil victory for Eagle FM not only added to the festive atmosphere, but also fostered camaraderie within the broadcast industry.

    Demonstrating its commitment to community well-being, Eagle 102.5 FM hosted a medical outreach, offering free eye check-ups, glasses and general medical examinations. The highlight of this outreach was the award of two free cataract surgeries sponsored by the station, further emphasising its dedication to making a positive impact beyond entertainment.

The celebration will start with a feeding programme and educational scholarship opportunities aimed at supporting widows, orphanages and deserving students.

    The Chairman of the radio station, Otunba Kunle Kalejaye, SAN, said an outdoor broadcast would take place in Shagamu on April 2 from 11am to 2pm, bringing the excitement of live radio to the streets.

    He said on April 3, a thrilling novelty game between Eagle 102.5 FM and Super FM Ijebu-Ode promises to captivate audience and foster camaraderie between the two stations.

    “As part of its commitment to community wellness, Eagle 102.5 FM will host a medical outreach offering free eye check-ups and general medical check-ups on the station’s premises on April 4, from 11am to 2pm.
