    Efe Chesterfield listed among 2024 Yessiey Africa’s 100 most impactful people

    Writer, playwright, poet, and essayist Efe Ronald Chesterfield was among the 100 Most Impactful People listed by Yessiey Awards in the year 2024. 

    This goes a long way to show his immense contributions to the literary and educational terrain of Nigeria.

    Chesterfield is a ponderous author and a very innovative user of the English language; he is best known for his popularization of the term “swaggersome,” added in some dictionaries like Wiktionary. 

    Besides being a great author, he is also the founder of The Chesterfield Academy, an online resource which works to further improve the educational experience of school-age children worldwide.

    Apart from literary merit, Chesterfield has accumulated over 15 years of teaching experience, focusing on the fields of Visual Arts and the English language. 

    His public speaking is not lagging either, with more than 5,000 children having been trained by his NGO, the Sublime Foundation for Africa. In all, his determination to ensure a bright future for the upcoming generation through education and public speaking made him one of the community’s leading personalities.

    Recognition in this prestigious list by Yessiey Awards underlines the impact of his work and his commitment to fostering creativity and critical thinking among young people. While he remains active, both as a writer and performer, Chesterfield continues to be a relevant voice in contemporary African literature and education.
