    Efon princess for burial

    The death has occurred of Princess Iranlade Oladapo, nee Adejolu. 

    She died on Sunday. She was 97.

    The deceased is survived by siblings, including a centurion elder sister, nephews, nieces, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the descendants of Garuba Adejolu dynasty.

    Christian Wake for the matriarch will hold by 4pm on Friday at T10, Ilugbeku Street, Efon Alaaye, Ekiti State.

    A statement by Prince Adeyemi Adejolu said the remains of the deceased would be interred at 8am the next day, while funeral outing and thanksgiving service would take place by 10am at Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Zonal Headquarters, Oke Igbala, Inisha Street, Efon Alaaye.

    Ajanaku, Efon community leader, dies

    Community leader in Efon Alaaye in Ekiti State, Chief George Ajanaku, is dead. He was 90.

    Ajanaku, retired teacher and a prominent grassroots leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is a former leader of Ekiti West Local Government Legislative House in Third Republic.

    He was a chieftain of proscribed Social Democratic Party (SDP).

    A statement by his son, Yemi Ajanaku, former chairman of Efon Council, said the deceased will be buried in the ancient town on Friday after a funeral service at St. Michael Catholic Church, Iloro, Efon-Alaaye.
