Some public properties like electric poles, wires and cables have been affected in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital as a result of heavy rain in some parts of the ancient city yesterday.
Some of the affected areas included Jericho, Akala Expressway and UI/Ojoo axis.

The Nation learnt that some electric poles, wires and cables were affected during the rain at Jericho area. At Akala Expressway, a big billboard was destroyed.
Also, passengers and commuters plying University of Ibadan-Ojoo Road were stranded when a big billboard at Ajibode junction collapsed.
