An entrepreneur and philanthropist, Dr Fisayo George Adelabu has empowered over 100 youths in forex trading.

In a statement, the medical doctor, who is also into forex trading noted that he remains committed to youth development and giving back to society.

He said: “My dedication to my craft and willingness to help others has earned me numerous awards and recognition within the medical community. We have supported numerous initiatives and organizations, empowering youth and marginalized groups.”

Adelabu has received numerous awards for his outstanding contributions to medicine, business, and philanthropy. Some of his notable awards includes, Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity,  West African Youth Ambassador,  Icon of Women Development,  Forex Icon of the year 2023 Award, A COPEEL Award presented to him in recognition of his outstanding contributions to development of entrepreneurship in Africa, Julius Nyerere Hall of Fame  Award presented to him by Young African Professionals and Entrepreneurs YAPE-AFRICA for his lifestyle and great ability to provide leadership, among others.

The Kogi  East chapter  of Odu Coalition Group has said that it is backing the former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for  what it called the “transparency of his administration” and his efforts at uniting the people of the state.

 The group which is made up of eminent youth from Kogi East, headed by Chief Odu Akowe, made this known at a news conference in Anyigba in Dekina Local Government at the weekend.

 The development , according to the group, was borne out of Yahaya Bello’s love for youth inclusiveness and his aggressive push for peaceful coexistence during his administration. They also passed a vote of confidence in the incumbent governor, Alhaji  Usman Ododo, for his ‘outstanding performance’ in his short time in office. The group specifically praised Governor Ododo for taking after his predecessor, Bello, in security, transparency, and building unity amongst the people.

 Of particular reference was the governor’s approach to security issues, which led to the rescue of CUSTECH students within 72 hours of their abduction.

 The group described President Bola Tinubu as “a staunch advocate for democracy” who should intervene and ensure that the EFCC operates in accordance with constitutional provisions and respects the rule of law.   The Coalition urged President Tinubu to address the concerns.

 They expressed gratitude to the President’s commitment to good governance and leadership, emphasizing the need for his timely intervention to safeguard democracy and protect the rights of all citizens.
