    Enakhena wants consistent MFM players

The Coordinator of the MFM FC, Godwin Enakhena has told his players to keep their heads firmly on the ground and remain consistent throughout the season despite occupying the pole position of the NPFL 2015/2016 season after two games.

Enakhena in a chat with SportingLife reckoned that with 36 matches to the end of the season placing first on the log now does not make much meaning but that MFM need to continue to be consistent to achieve set goals at the end of the season.

Ifeanyi Ifeanyi and Sikiru Olatunbosun’s goals in the 18th and 24th minutes put the Olukoya Boys in the driver’s seat before Frederick Obomate pulled a goal back in the 57th minute for Rivers United as the tie ended 2-1 in favour of the host at the Agege Stadium, Lagos on Wednesday.

Enakhena, a front-line journalist, stated that his players are aware of what is at stake and that with the support of a vibrant psychologist in the team they are rest assured that MFM players would continue to hit the ground running as they visit 3SC in Ibadan this weekend.

He said he expects a brotherly affair in Ibadan and that with the number of matches between both teams in recent times- about five, he knows the officials at the Lekan Salami Stadium and the fans will come to enjoy the game without trouble regardless of the final scores at the end of 90 minutes.
