    Award-winning actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has showered friend Eniola Badmus with love and prayers after the latter openly expressed desire to have children.

    The gesture comes after Badmus became emotional during her annual charity event, where she expressed desire to birth her children.

    In response, Akindele shared a video on Instagram, praying for Badmus to be blessed with children. 

    Adopting her famous character, Lefty from Omo Ghetto, Akindele urged Badmus to focus on her finances this year, as she will be busy with her children in the coming year.

    “My darling Eniola Badmus, #leftyomoghetto has a message for you.
    God’s got you. I love you!! All your prayers are answered in Jesus name. Love you baby girl. check your DM for my account details!! O se (owo Adura),” she wrote on Instagram.

    Actress and politician Eniola Badmus broke down in tears during her annual charity event where she made an emotional appeal to supporters to pray for her to become a mother.

    As she took the stage, Eniola’s voice cracked with emotion as she urged the audience to pray for her to be blessed with the fruit of the womb.

    She expressed deep desire to have children and provide for them, asking for continued opportunities to serve and support her community.

    Actress Eniola Badmus has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic policies, citing a decrease in imports and an increase in exports as signs of an expanding economy.

    On her Instagram story, Badmus shared trade statistics, highlighting a trade surplus of over N14 trillion in just eight months. 

    She described this as a “refreshing shift from consumption to production.”

    She wrote: “For the year-to-date 2024, our imports were N24.44 trillion, while our exports stood at N38.59 trillion. This gives us an unprecedented trade surplus of over N14 trillion in just eight months.

    “It has never happened in Nigeria. Never. This is a refreshing shift from consumption to production.”

    However, her appraisal comes amidst widespread hardship and inflation in the country, with millions of citizens protesting against the worsening economic conditions in August.

    Actress Eniola Badmus has officially resumed her role as the special assistant on social events and public hearings to the speaker House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen.

    She shared photos from their recent meeting with Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) in Abuja.

    On her Instagram page, Eniola posted images from the event, emphasising the importance of NILDS in enhancing legislative institutions through research, support services, training, and policy analysis.

    Actress, Eniola Badmus, has announced her appointment as the special assistant on social events and public hearings to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abbas.

    Badmus’ images of her appointment had gone viral early in the month when she was seen receiving her appointment letter.

    Announcing on her Instagram account on Monday, May 27, Badmus wrote: “It’s official. SA to the Speaker House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Social Events and Public Hearing.”

    Describing it as a significant milestone, she thanked Speaker Abbas for finding her worthy and capable of shouldering her new role.

    She wrote: “A sincere heartfelt gratitude for entrusting me with the recent political appointment. It is an honour to be given this opportunity. I am truly honoured and excited to serve under your leadership, #speakerabbas, and I am deeply appreciative of the confidence you have placed in me.

    The drama started over the latter’s outfit to an event, which attracted online mockery. 

    She later confronted Eniola Badmus, saying she bullied her. 

    Responding, Eniola Badmus warned Laide Bakare not to incur her wrath, saying she has massive capacity for “vawulence.”

    Eniola Badmus claimed Laide Bakare shamed her days ago via her direct message (DM) for not having a child or raising a family.

    She added that Laide Bakare mocked her choice of candidate during the 2023 presidential election.
