Burgeoning Afrobeat and Reggae Dancehall artiste Ajuluchukwu Chijioke, aka Reil C says he is set to drop an EP, The Ghetto Youth, to showcase his musical prowess while offering what he describes as ‘just a slice’ of his many talents.

The artiste describes the EP as specifically for the youths and is meant for both recreation and motivation.

The currently unsigned artiste says he hopes to use this EP and future collaborations with both local and foreign artistes to draw attention to his brand and his abilities.

A youth empowerment activist himself, the artiste further revealed that he hopes to use his music as a channel of enlightenment for youths, especially the seemingly underprivileged, who he says possess various artistic and entrepreneurial gifts but lack direction in putting them to good and profitable use.

“My stage name is gotten from the North American Kabalarian philosophy. It defines my versatility and creativity. I am ambitious, original and progressive, I refuse stereotypes. My brand is all about the youth because we are equipped with powers we often do not use despite the fact that our choices are limitless. I am also an entrepreneur so I also put my efforts into affairs as creative and fruitful as I hope my career in music will be,” Reil C stated.

The forthcoming EP, Reil C says, will consist of six tracks with Down, featuring Enkay as the lead single.
