The Group Managing Director of Next Gear Group Limited, Dr. Olusola Owomoyela has been appointed the Legal Adviser of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Chapter
This was as he promised to instill discipline and professionalism among Real Estate Developers in the FCT.
Dr. Olusola who before going into Real Estate Development was a lawyer for many years expressed his appreciation for the honour as well as his commitment to bring his wealth of experience in the legal profession to play in his new position.
He said as an advocate of integrity and quality in the delivery of Real Estate Services to the public, he is ready to work with the current executives as well as other members the association to ensure that developers operate within the ambits of the law.
On instilling discipline and professionalism among Real Estate Developers in the FCT, Dr. Olusola assured that he would be hands-on with the leadership to ensure that this goal is achieved.
He said over the years, there has been pockets of disagreements between subscribers and developers over property allocation after payments which had created a measure of distrust among subscribers.

Dr. Olusola assured that this trend can be regarded as a thing of the past as he would work with the leadership of the association and members to ensure that developers deliver on promises made and the real estate industry in the FCT gains her place as an industry that operates within the law.
Speaking further, he reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that developers in the FCT work and deliver on promises made to the subscribers.
He said REDAN, while fulfilling it’s duty of protecting the interests of member-developers in the FCT, will also stand as an uncompromising arbiter when there is the need to protect the interest of subscribers.
Dr. Olusola pointed out that his appointment as the Legal Adviser of REDAN is a testament that his commitment to operating with integrity has not gone unnoticed.
He expressed gratitude to his family for their support as well as the Next Gear family for their support and trust in his philosophy.
He expressed his gratitude to members of the Association who deemed him worthy to occupy this all-important position to ensure that the confidence reposed in him.
