  • Monarch hails Euro Global for job creation

    The Olota of Ota in Ogun State, Oba (Prof) Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege, has lauded the contributions of Euro Global Foods and Distilleries Limited for creating jobs for the teeming youths of Awori Kingdom.

    The monarch also said the company had been boosting the local economy of its host community.

    Oba Obalanlege, who spoke during a visit to the company’s corporate head office in Sango-Otta, also toured the premises of the distillery giant.

    The monarch expressed delight that Euro Global Foods and Distilleries Limited was operating within his kingdom, adding that the company did not only have the capacity to locally source for its raw materials but also capable of exporting such products in line with international standards.

    He said: “I am delighted that this is existing in this town. Ordinarily, walking around, you would not know that we have a fully automated factory like this with international standard producing products that are being exported to other countries right here.

    “They are sourcing their raw materials locally. This has helped in boosting the economic growth and activities, not only for the farmers but also for indigenes of this community.

    “This is the kind of factories that we are ready to support in this country. Then, being the Olota of Ota, I am assuring the Euro Global Group that I am always ready to assist them at all times. I also want to thank them for employing our youths. My prayer is that they should grow more so that they can employ more of our youths.”

    Oba Obalanlege congratulated the company for producing Seaking Schnapps, its flagship brand, sating it is one of the best brands of Schnapps consumed in the community.

    He said: “People presented Seaking Schnapps to me as a gift during my coronation, but I never knew it is being produced right here. So, coming here today and I saw it, I am happy that it is being made here. I must thank Euro Global Foods and Distilleries Limited for doing that.”

    The Chairman of Sona Group of Industries, Mr. Arjan Mirchandani, said Euro Global Foods and Distilleries Limited was ready to do more for the community.

    He said the company had about 4,000 workers and was hoping to employ additional 2,000 to boosts it workforce.

    According to him, the company will not only contribute to the economic growth of Awori Kingdom but will also ensure that it impacts the lives of the people through its Corporate Social Responsibly (CSR) programmes.

    The highpoint of the monarch’s visit was the pouring of libation by High Chief Isiaka Idowu Balogun, “the Balogun of Ota Kingdom”.

     

  • Euro Global holds raffle draw for community

    Euro Global Foods and Distilleries, a leading distillery and marketing company, has added colour, glamour and excitement to the 26th edition of Ita Oba Day celebrations at Ota in Ogun State.

    The company organised a raffle draw for hundreds of the residents as part of its bonding with the host community.

    The raffle draw, which offered consumers the opportunity to win various gift items during the event, also enabled them to sample some of the company’s quality products.

    In the raffle draw, anyone at the event who bought any of Euro Global’s products on display, was asked to pick a raffle note and whatever was written on the paper was their prize.

    The winners got gift items, such as plastic bowls, Fez caps, umbrellas, wrist bands, exercise books, free drinks, T-shirts, biros, lunch boxes and others.

    Regional Sales Manager of Foods and Distilleries, Femi Odusile said the raffle draw was meant to further create a unique bonding between the leading distillery company and residents of Ota and other parts of Ogun State for being good hosts to the company over the years.

    He said Euro Global, a subsidiary of Sona Group of Companies, had always enjoyed a good relationship and patronage from the people of the town.

    Odusile said: “Identifying with the residents during a great event like Ita Oba Day was one practical way Euro Global can express love and appreciation to the people as well as promote their culture and tradition.”

    On the objective of the raffle draw, the Sales Director Felix Aighobahi said it had become an important aspect of business management and community relations with consumers always expecting businesses to provide the best products and services.

    He said: “This means no company has any reason not to do its part by helping host communities and make efforts to give something back to the people. This will not only support others but will also satisfy customers’ desire to patronise firms that have strong relationships and recognise the importance of helping good causes.”

    Many of the winners hailed Euro Global for its generosity.

    Chief Samson Ogunnaike praised the company for the gesture.

    He said: “It was a pleasant surprise to me that after buying its products, one of the company staff member asked me to come and pick a wrapped up paper and to my pleasure, I discovered I won a carton of Seaking Premium Schnapps. As a member of the organising committee for this Ita Day, I can confirm that this company has added more excitement to this year’s event. We are very grateful to the management.”

     

  • Euro Global expands market terrain

    •Boosts portfolio with new products

    Euro Global Distilleries, a subsidiary of Sona Group conglomerate, has expanded its market territories with a view to make its products available and affordable.

    The firm has also concluded plans to introduce more products into its stable to give consumers more choice opportunities in their quest for value and consumption.

    The Managing Director, Mr. Manish Uniyal, said it has become imperative to expand its trading frontiers as most of its consumer products are in hot demand pan-Nigeria.

    “We recently expanded our trading zones to make sure we cover the Nigerian markets effectively, because our products are in high demand and a delight to the consumers,” he said.

    He noted that the growing number of brands in its product portfolio makes it incumbent and exigent as the company embarks on satisfying all categories of consumers, irrespective of demographics and segmentation.

    The company recently launched two new products – Power Spirits Drink (Bottle and Can) and Golden Choco. It was gathered that the company has almost concluded plans to launch new sets of innovative products into the market.

    Uniyal hinted that his company’s winning way is not unconnected with exploring ways to improve the quality of the products.

    His words: “We always try to find ways to improve the quality of our products without affecting the consistency that consumers have become accustomed to over the years,” he added.

  • Euro Global introduces St. Almanac cognac

    Euro Global Foods and Distilleries Limited, makers of Amphora wines, Julius Tonic wine and Sabrina Gin, has introduced St. Almanac  Blended Cognac Brandy into the market.

    The brandy is blended with the finest imported cognac, in wooden casks made from handpicked grapes.
