Recognized for his forward-thinking approach, Uhunoma has consistently helped global organizations navigate the complexities of digital transformation, particularly through the practical deployment of enterprise tools, digital productivity solutions, and Generative AI features.
Uhunoma guides multinational organizations through large-scale change initiatives as he currently works as a Consultant in Deloitte’s UK Technology and Transformation practice. His professional journey spans multiple countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and several African nations, bringing a truly global perspective to his work. He has consulted across industries such as Energy & Mining, Media & Telecommunications, and Consumer Products, with a consistent focus on aligning technological initiatives with organizational goals and human needs.
Uhunoma’s career began in Nigeria, where he worked with MyJobMag to leverage digital platforms in support of youth employment and graduate readiness. He later joined The Concept Group, parent company of Rosabon Financial Services and Concept Nova, where he supported the development of digital products designed to improve efficiency in sectors such as fleet management and financial services. These early experiences laid the groundwork for his transition into global consulting, first at PwC Nigeria and now at Deloitte UK.
In his current role, Uhunoma assesses how technology-driven change affects people, processes, and operations, and he designs rollout strategies that drive successful adoption. His work includes stakeholder engagement, case for technology change, communication planning and implementation, training and skill acquisition, and risk management, ensuring that innovations are implemented with both precision and purpose.
One of his most impactful projects to date involved supporting a global media company in adopting Generative AI solutions. Working across business and technical teams, he supported the deployment of virtual agents, AI-powered summarization tools, and AI generative tools integrated into the clients systems and daily workflows. These initiatives significantly improved internal productivity and reshaped team collaboration, highlighting Uhunoma’s ability to translate emerging technologies into business value.
In addition to his consulting work, Uhunoma contributes to the broader discourse on technology through published research. His peer-reviewed article, “From Hours to Minutes: The Impact of Generative AI on Work Turnaround Time and Productivity,” presents empirical findings on how AI tools reduce task completion time by up to 90%, especially for routine assignments. Another co-authored study, “Bias Perceptions of Generative AI: A Comparison of Public Sentiment on Twitter and Workplace Perspectives,” addresses ethical concerns and the perception gap between public narratives and corporate adoption.
Uhunoma has advocated for a future of work that is inclusive, ethical, and empowered by technology, not replaced by it. Through his leadership, research, and global consulting engagements, Evans Uhunoma continues to shape the future of business transformation, bridging the divide between technological potential and real-world impact.
