Two esteemed members of the Egbuoma Supreme Elder’s Council, Sunday Enworom and Edwin Nwabude, have refuted claims of endorsing any candidate for the Eze-elect position of the Egbuoma Ancient Kingdom.
In a statement: “Letter of Clarification,” the elders declared that they have not backed any individual vying for the traditional stool and wish to remain neutral in the ongoing selection process.

“I, Sunday Enworom and Edwin Nwabude of Ubahudara, Egbuoma ,and members of the Egbuoma Supreme Elder’s Council, wish to clarify our position regarding the endorsement of Eze-elect of Egbuoma Ancient kingdom in Imo State.
“Edwin and I have not endorsed any candidate. We want to remain neutral on the selection of the Eze-elect and allow all the contestants equal opportunity in the process,” they said.
