Facility management firm set to equip strategic leaders

Managing Director of Max-Migold,  a provider of Facility Management consulting and training, Paul Erubami, has said the firm is set to produce facility managers technically competent and strategic to manage complex assets in Nigeria and Africa.

He spoke as the firm launches Batch 25 of its Facility Management Master Craft Programme (FMMC) — a training designed to bridge the skill gap in facility management.

Beginning next month, the training comes at a pivotal time for the industry, which is expanding by over 15 per cent annually, driven by the development of commercial real estate, increasing demand for energy efficiency, and the professionalisation of building services.

However, less than 35 per cent have received formal training, a major challenge for organisations looking to optimise facility operations.

“FMMC is more than a training — it’s a transformative career pathway,” he said. The programme, in its 25th edition, has trained over 700 professionals from CBRE Excellerate, Brains & Hammers, FrieslandCampina WAMCO, Promasidor, Julius Berger facilities management, and others.

Instructions will be on Facility Management Strategy and Planning Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance Lifecycle, Asset Management, Energy Management and Sustainability, Smart Building Technologies, Project and Vendor Management

Alumni have reported huge post-training outcomes – job promotions, higher salaries, career pivots, and access to talent placement opportunities coordinated by the company.
