    BBNaija: Fairme David expresses disappointment over lack of birthday gifts

    Ex-BBNaija season 9 contestant, Fairme David, has expressed disappointment and sadness over the lack of gifts from fans on his birthday. 

    In an Instagram live session, Fairme revealed that he spent his special day alone in bed, receiving only birthday wishes and no tangible gifts.

    Fairme compared his experience to that of previous housemates, who were showered with gifts from their fans. 

    He jokingly described himself as feeling like an “orphan” on his birthday.

    During his live rant, his colleague Ben joined in and offered support by requesting his bank details.

    “I’m lying down on bed like an orphan, country hard o. I no even know whether I get fans. I no even get any ‘send me your account number’, na so so happy birthday message I just dey see,” he said in part.

    Evicted Big Brother Naija housemates, Fairme David and Michkey, said they were shocked to discover that their fellow contestants, Kassia and Kellyrae, are married.

    The Radicals duo was evicted from the show on Sunday, which also marked the end of all pairs and the start of individual competition.

    In an interview, Fairme and Michkey revealed that they suspected Kassia and Kellyrae were dating due to their close relationship.

    According to them, there was a specific incident that occurred where Kassia accidentally touched Fairme’s nipple, prompting a strong reaction from Kellyrae.

    Fairme stated: “I see the closeness, I say na lie this kind closeness…there was a time Kassia mistakenly touched my nipple. She didn’t do it on purpose, but the way Kellyrae reacted that day, I was like, ‘Guy, na play na’.”

    Mickey added: “The only thing that surprised me was that they are married, because I thought they were dating. But coming outside and finding out they are married, it’s actually beautiful.”

    Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Fairme David, has revealed that his focus in the house was not on finding love but on showcasing his true self.

    In a recent interview on Outsyd by Pulse, he stated that he didn’t go into the house to find love but to be himself and showcase his personality.

    Fairme explained that while others used relationships to win, he wasn’t interested in pretending to be in love.

    He emphasised that if he had caught feelings for someone, he would have pursued them, saying that he didn’t want to force or fake a relationship for the sake of the show.

    “I didn’t go into that house to find love. Love is not my problem, so I went there to show who Fairme is.

    “Anybody coming into the house and anyone that has been watching Big Brother Naija knows that being in a ship takes you far so they will quickly want to be in a ship. I did not want to fake it for Nigerians or Africa. Maybe if I had fallen in love or caught feelings for someone, I would have gone for it. I wanted it to be real not forced and so I took my time and did me”, he said.

    He added that he didn’t see anyone in the house who was his “spec” or someone he was strongly attracted to, but acknowledged that there were beautiful women in the house.

    “If the love did not come or I didn’t see anyone I was attracted to, fine. I didn’t see anyone that was really my Spec; yes, I didn’t see anyone like that. But they were all beautiful women in that house,” he added.

    Big Brother Naija housemate, Fairme David, from the pair “Radicals,” has shared his struggles to get into the reality show. 

    During his diary session, Fairme revealed that he auditioned nine times before being selected for this season.

    Fairme expressed frustration about being in the bottom four every week, despite his efforts to connect with viewers.

    He mentioned that fellow contestant Toby Forge suggested changing their personalities to appeal to the audience but Fairme refused.

    He said: “I don’t know why the public doesn’t like me and my partner. I auditioned nine times to be here,” he said.

    “Toby forge asked me and Michky why the public has kept us in bottom four, that we should try something else. But I cannot be what I’m not! I can’t pretend.”
