Jamaican-born artist Mistela Hayles, popularly known as “Fancy Face Music,” who last release was “Island Vibes in February, is set to launch an exciting chapter in her music career with the release of a new collaborative EP.

The singer, songwriter, and dancehall sensation recently took to Instagram to share the news with her fans, saying, “I’ve been slaying and putting in work in the studio, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.”

Known for her raunchy yet velvety vocals and electrifying performances, Fancy Face Music is gaining traction as a dancehall/Afrobeats fusion artist. Born and raised in Jamaica, she’s quickly made a name for herself in the Caribbean music scene and now has her sights set on expanding her fanbase into Africa.

In a recent conversation, she revealed that the forthcoming project will be a joint EP with Nigerian/Liberian artist and collaborator Julius Ogunti. The EP is currently in the final stages of mixing and mastering and is slated for release in the first quarter of 2025.

While the collaborative EP is still untitled, Fancy Face Music hinted at an impressive lineup of songs crafted to resonate with her fans in Africa and the diaspora.

“The proposed project with Ogunti will serve as my introduction to my fans around the African continent and a way to build anticipation for my debut body of work,” she shared.

Alongside the EP, Fancy Face also mentioned plans to release one or two singles complete with music videos to build excitement for the full project.

Adding to the anticipation, Fancy Face Music teased another upcoming release—her debut solo EP, expected in the second quarter of 2025. “I’m currently working on several projects at the same time, so I haven’t decided on the exact number of tracks for my solo EP yet,” she disclosed. “But I can assure my fans that it’s going to be worth the wait.”

As she gears up for her upcoming releases, Fancy Face is planning a promotional tour across Nigeria, Liberia, Kenya, and Ghana, hoping to connect with her growing fan base and drum up excitement for both her collaborative and solo projects.

With this media blitz, Fancy Face Music is aiming to carve a unique space for herself in the dancehall/Afrobeats fusion genre, bringing her Jamaican flair and high-energy style to the African music scene.

Fans can expect more details on the tracklist, featured artists, and official release dates in the coming weeks.
