    I lost three people to failed BBL surgeries – Fari Elysian

    Fari Elysian, a Russian-born Nigerian actress and content creator, has shared that the loss of three acquaintances due to unsuccessful Brazilian Butt Lift surgeries inspired her to create a narrative on the topic.

    She said they died as a result of complications they suffered after undergoing butt lift surgeries.

    Speaking in a recent episode of The Time podcast hosted by Victoria Gure and Folasade Abimbola, Fari the experience was a difficult one for her.

    She said: “We just started short films, Afro Tales, whereby in every episode we give people different stories; stories that everybody can relate to.

    “Also being in a position whereby I lost three women that I knew because of BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift). And it wasn’t a funny feeling. You know somebody and the next thing you hear is that she had a complication, she couldn’t walk and then she died. Different cases. So, I had to go deeper into BBL. We had to write a story about that. And we did one episode of Afro Tales that was about BBL.”

    Russia-born Nigerian actress and content creator, Fari Elysian, has disclosed why she relocated from her home country to Nigeria.

    The thespian said she moved to Nigeria after falling in love with a Nigerian man.

    She disclosed this in the latest episode of The Time podcast hosted by Victoria Gure and Folasade Abimbola.

    Fari said: “I came to Nigeria because of a man. I was in love. I relocated to Nigeria in 2020. I’ve been here for three years now. And it’s beautiful. It’s amazing.”

    On the trend of Nigerians relocating abroad for greener pastures, she said: “People want something they don’t have; they appreciate something they don’t have more. Me coming here, it was all new to me. It was something I don’t have. I never had and I’ve it now. So, it’s like something new. It’s exotic.

    “I found myself here. I discovered myself here. The same thing for Nigerians that are travelling out. People always want something they don’t have. It has always been like that.”
