First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has appointed Ademola Adebise, to its board. Adebise is a banker with over three decades’ experience. The appointment follows approval of Central Bank of Nigeria.
Adebise, former managing director of Wema Bank Plc, brings his knowledge and expertise to FCMB.
He was chair of the board Family Homes Funds Limited.
His career spans the financial industry, including technology, risk management, and strategic planning.
Adebise held key positions in banks and non-banking institutions, including Legacy Chartered Bank, Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc and Accenture, global consulting firm.

Adebise serves on board of AIICO Insurance, AIICO Capital and Duchess International Hospital.
With a BSc in Computer Science from University of Lagos and MBA from Lagos Business School, Adebise blends technical expertise with business acumen.
He is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Adebise has completed executive programmes at University of Cambridge and Harvard Business School.
