    Recare sponsors Women Golf Tournament

    Recare limited, makers of Natures Gentle Touch, the hair care brand formulated for Nigerian women is sponsoring the LGAN Western Zone Open, in a bid to celebrate Nigerian women in sports.

    The LGAN Western Zone is an annual championship that brings together lady golfers. This year’s edition has been scheduled for the 18-hole Sagamu Golf Club in Ogun State from Friday, October 28 to Sunday 30, 2016.

    According to the Zonal Vice President, LGAN, Maureen Odion: “the tournament affords the LGAN to assess and rank its players. The top three players that emerge from the event would be prepared and exposed to national and international events. The overall winner is the best gross player over 36 holes”.

    According to the Recare in a statement, Friday, October 28 is arrival and practice day for all participants at the event while Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th are the main event days. The event includes dinner; welcome cocktail, sponsors’ karaoke night and closing ceremony.

    Also speaking on this development, Field Education Manager, Daniel Komla said: “We recognise the zeal and excellence in the sports industry and for us, this is an opportunity for every lady golfer present at the event to further experience our brand offerings”.

    “More than 100 lady golfers at this year’s tournaments will receive a product each from the beauty brand which will help them meet their hair treatment and styling needs,” Komla added.

    The tournament will also feature Invited players including gentlemen from other regions in the country.

    Recare extends free hair consultation to varsities

    Natures Gentle Touch has extended its free hair consultation campaign to tertiary institutions across the country, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in Nigeria.

    The campaign which kicked off at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is aimed at educating individuals, especially women on how to grow, care, and maintain healthy hair and scalp by cultivating healthy hair routine.

    Speaking on this development, Field Education Manager, Recare International, manufacturers of Natures Gentle Touch, Mr. Daniel Komla, noted that the campaign was borne out of the need to empower women with the knowledge to make informed choices in the face of frequent hair and scalp challenges.

    He added that the Healthy Hair Campaign focuses on educating women on the various unhealthy habits they indulge in that make their hair vulnerable to breakage, receding hairline, sensitive scalp and eventual hair loss.

    “We, at Natures Gentle Touch embrace education. It is a commitment we are giving to the nation that from the money we are making we will support the communities where we operate.

    “The benefits of the campaign are immeasurable as it allows more women to get to understand their hair and the required treatment to keep it healthy. This is another way the brand is empowering women to embrace their unique sense of style,” added Komla.

    The campaign which features a one-on-one consultation with hair consultants who diagnose the hair and scalp whilst offering professional hair care tips and practical demonstrations on ways to maintain healthy hair, will roll out to other higher institutions in the country.

    Recare Limited makers of Natures Gentle Touch Hair Institute on Friday announced the opening of registration for its Basic Beginners training course slated to commence on April 18th 2016 in Lagos.

     

    The programme provides beginners with theoretical and practical skills in Salon Business and Salon Management needed to establish a career in the beauty and personal style industry.

     

    “In reality, a lot of women don’t get enough customer satisfaction from their hair salons thereby affecting customer loyalty.  Our students are trained to offer solutions to these problems using all Natures Gentle Touch products.     Experienced hair stylists looking to hone their skills can also register for the 2 weeks training programme. The courses include Hair cutting, Professional Hair styling, Salon Business and Salon Management.     Trade Fair: Recare to give free hair analysis

    The Kaduna International trade fair, in its 37th edition, will feature Recare cosmetics, makers of hair and scalp solution products for women.

    Speaking in a statement on Friday, Recare cosmetics says it would offer a free hair analysis to participants at the event.

    According to the Field Education Manager, Mr. Daniel Komla,  Recare will be participating at the Kaduna trade fair for the 5th time.

    “However, this time we are adding something a little different by providing hair analysis for every participant who visits our stand at no cost to help them cater to their natural hair needs using the right Natures Gentle Touch product.”

    With at least 10 countries participating at this year’s edition, no fewer than 50,000 participants are expected to be present for the 10-day exhibition, which commences on Friday 26th February.
