Designed to teach primary school pupils essential money management skills, this program kicked off in November 2024 and will continue until March 2025.

25,000 pupils across 20 locations in Nigeria are currently engaging with the foundational principles of financial literacy through the program.

In a statement, it said: “Junior Achievement Nigeria’s focus on financial literacy is in harmony with the objectives of Cha-Ching and the program will educate students on key principles of financial management using the four keywords: Earn, Save, Spend, and Donate.

“By simplifying these principles into practicable, everyday examples, Cha-Ching equips young learners with the knowledge and confidence to make smart financial decisions from an early age.

“835 facilitators have been trained to deliver the Cha-Ching curriculum to ensure the program reaches its full potential. These trainers are using fun, interactive lessons, and animated videos to make learning engaging and impactful.

Ugonna Achebe, Executive Director of Junior Achievement Nigeria, said: “Our partnership with Prudence Foundation reflects our unwavering commitment to equipping young people with the skills they need to take charge of their financial futures. Cha-Ching does more than teach pupils about money, it helps them develop responsibility, generosity, and critical thinking skills around finances.

“This collaboration with Prudence Foundation highlights their dedication to empowering young people with lifelong skills that are helping secure a brighter financial future. Together, we are preparing a generation that can confidently navigate the complexities of the financial world.
