Top Nigerian stand-up comedians like FunnyBone and Ushbebe were major highlights at the third edition of Redlens comedy night.

The third edition, which was held on November 5, was a night filled with laughter as attendees came out in large numbers to enjoy the day.

The comedy night also brought together many top-rated comedians and upcoming artists for an enthralling experience.

Also featured at the comedy night were Laff Doctor, Tomama, and Jester, amongst others.

According to the organisers, Redlens Entertainment, the comedy night was aimed at bringing A list and upcoming comedians, and young artists under the same platform to showcase their talents/creativity.

The event was supported by the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Art, and Culture, Lagos State signage and Advertising Agency (LASAA) and Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS).

Stand-up comedian Funnybone has hailed his wife for pushing through the pregnancy experience as she was almost unrecognisable. 

The couple welcomed their first child on October 7.

Funnybone shared on his official Instagram page how thankful and blessed he is to have a child.

He wrote: “We are extremely Grateful and Blessed. Words can’t even express the Joy I feel deep within my heart.

“Dear Mummy Zim, This Belle showed you Shege shaa and I did not recognize you again.

“I almost called your dad for a refund o Shout out to every Mum out there Ya’all are the real MVP. DaddyZim+MummyZim.”

Comedian-cum-actor, Stanley Chibuna aka FunnyBone, and his wife have welcomed their first child together.

The comedian announced the arrival of their bundle of joy via his Instagram page on Saturday.

He quoted a Psalms which describes the conception and the blessings that children signify in the lives of their parents.

The proud and utterly grateful first-time dad also revealed the name of their child to be Zimachikachim which loosely translates to ‘show me a god greater than my God’.

Alongside of photo where he’s seen cradling the newborn Funnybone exhuding excitement, wrote: “Proud Dad. Grateful! Thankful! Blessed!

“Baby Zimchikachim.

“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them – Psalm 127:3-5.”

Funnybone and his beau, Angel who he met via a mutual friend, tied the nuptial knot in June, 2022; in Enugu State.
