    US-based Nigerian actor Funsho Adeolu has shared a heartfelt message to his wife as they celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. 

    On his Instagram, Adeolu posted a touching tribute, accompanied by a slideshow of cherished memories from their two decades together.

    He expressed his gratitude to God for their remarkable journey, filled with unforgettable moments and milestones.

    In his anniversary message, Adeolu praised the deepening bond between him and his wife, calling her his rock, best friend, and soulmate.

    He thanked her for being his steadfast partner and promised a lifetime of love, along with a fresh commitment to their future together.

    “20 years? Wow! I am grateful to God for this memorable and adventurous journey filled with memories, moments, and milestones

    Our bond grew stronger each year, my rock, my best friend, and my soul mate. Thank you for being my partner in every sense. I promise you a lifetime of love and a new beginning of fresh commitment. Hey, forever is the deal oo cheers to many more years together”, he wrote on Instagram.

    Actor Funsho Adeolu has claimed he charges more money per movie than most of his counterparts but they ride bigger cars than him. 

    The seasoned actor, in an interview with Teju Babyface, queried the source of income of his female colleagues in the industry.

    He noted how some of these actresses only come on set so they can pretend that the industry is what funds their lifestyle.

    “I charge more money per movie than most Nollywood actresses but they ride bigger cars than I do. They can’t say they make all that money from acting movies to fund their lifestyle.

    “People that if I collect N200,000 in a job, they can’t collect N20,000, they are riding bigger cars than I am riding.

    “What they do is come on set, show themselves on TV, so they have the opportunity to,” he said.

    Actors who veer into politics not real actors – Funsho Adeolu

    Popular actor Funsho Adeolu has said he does not regard actors who venture into politics as real actors.

    The 55-year-old said this in a recent interview with Teju Oyelakin, better known as Teju Babyface.

    According to Funsho Adeolu, an actor cannot be a politician.

    He said: “All these other people they’re not actors, an actor cannot be a politician.”

    “I know one who is a politician in Lagos, are you saying he is not an actor?” Teju asked.

    “Well, I don’t consider him an actor,” Funsho replied.

    “An actor should not be in politics, if you’re an actor who is in politics you were never an actor is that what you are saying?” Teju asked again.

    “Yes,” Funsho responded.

    Some actors have indicated interest in politics including Kate Henshaw, Femi Branch, Tonto Dikeh and Caroline Danjuma.

    Funsho Adeolu also spoke on how many of his colleagues live the fake life for the sake of the public.

    According to him, many of them would spend bales of cash at a party while being captured on camera but will get home and start calling people, begging them for house rent.
