A Former vice chairman of Apapa Iganmu LCDA, Hakeem Akanbi Balogun, has died.
Balogun died in his home in Sari-Iganmu on Tuesday, December 10, after a protracted illness.
According to friends and associates, the late Apapa political big-wig was an honest, dedicated, and selfless politician who served with the interest of his people at heart.

One of his aides, Gafar Alaka, described Balogun, who has been his benefactor for years, as ‘a very humane person’ who will be ‘sorely missed.’
Balogun has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
